Yeah I read that article.. but I still don't understand why he would then accept the MLE for another team.
He knew going in that LA had NO MONEY. Mitch was very blunt about it.Comment

Re: Official NBA Offseason/Player Movement Thread
This leads me to question, is Lamar really worth 9-10 mill a year? If it IS true that he'd sign with the Cavs for the MLE then, ****. Damn shame for us. I'd take potential over age any day. Yes Odom is rare, but damn man Trev is only 24 and improving every year!XBL: DTX3

I don't know why, he was probably just looking for a reason to get a bigger role and the same money without losing face.Too Old To Game Club

Yeah, that's where it gets murky, would the Lakers offer more money if they did not have Odom? Who knows?Too Old To Game Club

If Turk can get 11, Lamar should get 12 because he doesn't pretty much everything better than Turk.Comment

Re: Official NBA Offseason/Player Movement Thread
Alright, last post before bed.
Apparently, from an insider on another board, Ariza is just trying to get more money from LA. He still prefers LA, but he wants more money and is willing to go to LA.
Artest is apparently on the fence about both teams and is not sure where he is going.
More than likely that wherever Ariza ends up, Artest will likely go to the other spot.
Then again, I dont' know, or care, I'm going to bed.Too Old To Game Club
