I received notice that the Blazers prefer Ariza over Turkoglu, and would be willing to offer a 5 year deal worth $40.5 million dollars for him. If that in fact happens, Hedo Turkoglu would likely end up with the Raptors, who are only looking at offering a 4 year deal to Hedo, worth in the $9-10 Million dollar range per year.

The World Famous LayupDrill Rumor Mill7/2/09 The Lakers championship celebration may be officially over in a few days. Reports coming out of L.A indicate Trevor Ariza is likely to be leaving the champs and headed for a big payday this summer...

Why would the Blazers want Ariza when they have a similar player in Travis Outlaw? Doesn't make sense to me.

        ^^^^

At least that deal for Hedo is only for 4 years....not 5.

I wonder are the Lakers nervous by the whole Devean George debacle, were in a similar situation they locked him up long term after a playoff and he just flamed out

All 2nd round picks either drafted by the Magic or former players of the Magic. We know how to draft foreign big men.

Who signs Leon Powe? That's just a terrible situation for him, injured in a contract year

Isn't BleacherReport a fan run site, there's no real news, just fan done rumors?

Outlaw isn't the spot up shooter Ariza is, not to mention the defense.

There are a TON of rumors that Outlaw/Blake will be traded for Andre Miller.

Ariza would fit in well with that young POR team but not for that much cash. Should be interesting.. especially since Trevor was villafied [spelling?] for putting Rudy on a stretcher.

                            From Adrian Woj:

Cavs are making a massive run at Ron Artest and clearly intriguing him. How many games would Cleve win by just scaring teams in layup line?

I have no idea why people link to articles on that site unless they wrote them themselves.

                              Absolutely terrible site.
