Jazz Have Possibilities For Boozer Trade
Salt Lake Tribune - 07/05 - 6:55 PM EST (AP Photo)
The Jazz are expected to have a number of options should they decide to explore trading forward Carlos Boozer. Boozer opted against free agency on Tuesday, meaning he'll enter the 2009-10 season with a $12.7 million expiring contract. Utah wants to re-sign Paul Millsap, and keeping Boozer would mean another season on the bench for the younger forward. The Jazz also has to be cognizant of their luxury tax situation. The Salt Lake Tribune listed Detroit, Chicago, Milwaukee, New Jersey, Charlotte, Sacramento, Washington and Cleveland as potential trading partners on Sunday. However, the Cavaliers are unlikely to want Boozer back after he jilted them and the Wizards have said that they aren't looking to break up their core.

Yao is done for the next season
QUOTE]Sources close to Rockets center Yao Ming tell Local 2 this afternoon he will announce he is having major surgery on his left foot in the next few days, and that the procedure will keep him out of the upcoming Rockets season.
Yao has been sidelined since May 8 when it was discovered he suffered a hairline fracture in the top of the foot following a playoff game against the Lakers.
He has missed parts of the previous three seasons due to foot or leg injuries[/QUOTE]

The page you're trying to access could not be found or is no longer available.

Im not sure if they considered any of his surgeries major before at any point but this guy is probably past halfway through his career.

All the big teams stockin up with veterans from weaker teams will make it easier for the Grizzlies to leap frog into the playoffs.

And don't you actually, I don't know, have to win first before you even have a bandwagon for people to jump on?

I'm lettin people on the bandwagon now, so they can act all snobby and say they were truefans and call everyone else bandwagoners.. (sorta like I'm doin now)

Even tho you can have success and NEVER get bandwagon fans...i.e. the Utah Jazz.

*opens Utah Jazz bandwagon as well*

I consider myself to know my **** in regards to the Cap, but this is the first time I hear about the BAE.

Anyways, for that price, Frye is a decent pickup...He's soft though, but maybe Brown's defensive philosophies can toughen him up.

                            Per Windworsts twitter:

Channing Frye said visit to Cleveland went well, but no deal close yet. Also, sources say Shawn Marion is nearing a deal but not with Cavs.

                              That team is Dallas.

If BC can pull this off, genius.

Cavaliers looking at McDyess and Kleiza along with Frye.

I like that...I am on the Kleiza or McDyess bandwagon.

Edit: Looks like the Marion to Dallas deal is done.
