Re: Official NBA Offseason/Player Movement Thread
Any word on what the Clippers will do with their front court? I can't imagine how they can keep Camby, Kaman, and Randolph and draft #1 pick, Blake Griffin. That's a TON of money tied up a substandard front court.
Just a thought here --and I haven't seen this rumor anywhere, just a personal idea that I haven't crunched then numbers on ESPN's trade thingy-- but I wonder if the Clips and Heat could swing a deal that would involve Kaman for the expiring contract of O'Neal which would at least give the Heat a semblance of a serviceable center and would give the Clips cap relief for '10.
Seems to me a front line rotation of: Kaman, Beasley, Haslem, Anthony, and Magloire wouldn't be THAT horrible I don't guess.Last edited by Saber; 06-17-2009, 04:28 PM.Comment

Re: Official NBA Offseason/Player Movement Thread
If he checked his ego (and game), I think he'd fit perfectly in San Antonio.
I know...I know. Skip all the "system" and "Pop" talk.
To me, the Spurs only deterrent really is when their offense breaks down and they can't score. Their defense is always there.Comment

If his ego is still the AI of old i'm really struggling to see him fitting in anywhere.Comment

And they NEED to get younger. If someone is willing to overpay for Manu, they should deal him, especially if they can get Duncan some front court help.Comment

Re: Official NBA Offseason/Player Movement Thread
We're getting Rose and Durant in a three team trade for Mike James, the #5, and our next two second round picks. We won't need CP3. Rose and 0 (who, when healthy will be twice as good as he was in 06/07) will hold it down.Comment

You don't want to be sacrificing your future for role players with no potential like KD and Rose....Comment
