Re: Official NBA Offseason/Player Movement Thread
The latest buzz from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports includes:
... Chicago Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich is telling friends that he thinks he'll be dealt to the Portland Trail Blazers, who have interest in pairing him with Brandon Roy in the backcourt. ...
Marc Stein, of ESPN.com, essentially echoes this:
Kirk Hinrich, meanwhile, is said to be prominent on Portland's wish list given the Blazers' growing pessimism about persuading Phoenix to part with Steve Nash via trade and their ability to sign Jason Kidd away from Dallas.

However, Im pretty sure Walsh is blowing smoke. The Cavs want Curry pretty badly (Steph, not Eddie), but the 8th won't get it after his surprising metrics at the combine.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

Don't the Cavs have enough diminutive shoot first PG/SG tweeners?

No bull****, Fat Eddy has the potential to be THE BEST offensive low-post player in the NBA if he'd learn to not be a black hole (and of course stay healthy and be in shape, lol). The moves, ability, athleticism, finishing, etc are all there. Hell in 06-07 he was an All-Star on the offensive end of the court, IMO.
Damn shame, he is the biggest waste of talent in the entire league. I hope for his sake he puts it together before it's too late."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Official NBA Offseason/Player Movement Thread
According to the same source that disclosed Terry Porter was about to be fired as Suns coach, the Rockets are leaning toward swapping Tracy McGrady's expiring $22M contract, Carl Landry and Aaron Brooks for Leandro Barbosa and Stoudemire, who owns an escape clause after next season and is demanding an extension this summer to waive it.

Re: Official NBA Offseason/Player Movement Thread
The Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors have discussed a possible trade.
League executives indicate that Phoenix could send Amare Stoudemire to the Warriors for a package that would include Andris Biedrins and the No. 7 pick in the draft.
