The Knicks can want to trade the 8 pick for anything they want. They have nothing we want.

Yep, and I've also read you guys are trying to trade #5 plus Gilbert or Jamison for cap relief

Chances are, it's coming from the New York media, it's not true.

I'll believe it when I see it.

I just don't get why we'd do it. It makes no sense.

This would be a great trade for Washington. I'm a little confused by Cebby's disapproval. Wilson Chandler is a very solid player and moving down to the 8 spot isn't a big loss.

I woud like to have Wilson Chandler to. He can defend and put the ball in the hoop.

I personally don't see such a HUGE drop off in talent in the draft to possess the Knicks to trade up 3 spots. I mean the ONLY players I think that are guaranteed to be off the board by 5 would be Griffin, Thabeet, and maybe Harden. The only players that you add to that for the 8th spot would be Hill, Rubio... and maybe Evans and Curry. So with the 8th spot they have a slight chance on Evans or Curry and a REALLY good chance to see Jrue Holiday, and Jonny Flynn. Any of those would instantly upgrade their backcourt. There probably isn't anyone they can draft to help their front court unless they pick AT 5, but if I'm the Knicks and I can walk away with Evans, Curry, Holiday, or Flyn... then I'm fine with that. The only way the Knicks should deal up is if they are positive Hill will be there. And if that's the case, let whoever draft him... then draft whoever they want, and deal that player + Chandler for the draft rights to Hill.

People are making this crap way too difficult and taking things way too personal.

not sure why the knicks would trade away one of there better players.. there will be plenty of good players that can help straight away when the knicks get on the board

I've seen some funny *** trade/FA rumors from both the Skins and Wizards but damn...letting the #5 go for Jamison and NOW Arenas? Funniest trade rumor i've heard all year and that includes the NFL.

And Wilson Chandler coming to DC solves what exactly?

I can't believe Boston thought this trade had a prayer in going through, no way Ray's expiring would be worth that much to Detroit to give up so much...

I hope that happens. Boston loses their toughness and Detroit loses more than half their starting lineup. Not only that, but Rondo wouldn't have that good of players to play with.

KG, Pierce and Perkins are the heart of Boston's toughness, IMO. I love Ray Ray but when you think of a tough player he doesn't exactly jump to the top of the list. And as for Rondo, well he's more of a punk than tough.

                                PG: Stuckey
                                SG: Rip
                                SF: Pierce
                                PF: Garnett
                                C: Perkins

                                6th: Tayshaun

That team would be insane as long as Stuckey could handle distributing to all those stars.
