What is the Cavs management doing? They better offer Lebron an outlandish contract, and every perk he wants. Because if he bolts, they are back to the cellar. Not to mention alot of angry Cavs fans, He's arguably the best thing that ever happened to the Cavs, don't they have posters on their buildings of him? He is Cleveland.

Because James doesn't have to until he feels like it or doesn't have to at all.

It's all about keeping the team honest and making sure they are always looking to get a championship.

I know but thank you for you posting that, I'm keeping a compilation of every post on OS saying "there's no way in hell LeBron goes to NY" just in case he does somehow. I'll probably open a separate website just to keep the archive accessible to the public if he becomes a Knick.

Amazing. I already see Shaq getting the blame, has nothing to do with him or LeBron not being good enough

If they win a championship I believe he will stay in Cleveland. But if they don't, that franchise is most likely screwed. It's only the 1st game of course, and Cleveland's missing some key players. But I think you have to do more if your Ferry, I would really like to see Jackson shipped to Cleveland, that man can go off sometimes and takes pressure off Lebron, adding another reliable gun. They have to do as much as they can to keep Bron there.

To clarify...I am not blaming Shaq. I am blaming the GM for not bringing in a better piece.

And LBJ clearly is good enough to win a ring...but he needs much better pieces than a 38 year old Shaq and Mo Williams as his "second" guy.

Wait wait...Wasn't Mo Williams a key piece to the Cavs the last couple seasons at times?

Anyways I think Shaq isn't going to matter TOO much in the long run. This is like Kareem near the end of his career. Shaq will get a double double and maybe once in a while put up 20+ points but he's not THE piece. I don't even know why Cleveland got him for that purpose when there are better interior guys out there.

Basketball wise, if Lebron wants to leave Miami makes far and away the most sense.

However, I still doubt he leaves.

This is going to be a loooong NBA season. Everytime the Cavs lose a game, we'll have threads like this that turn into "LeBron to NY" posts.
