Re: 2010 NBA Draft Thread.
LaFrentz never came close to what I thought he'd accomplish. I thought he was a better version of Christian Laettner coming out of Kansas. He was a tall, athletic, lefty with range on his jumper and could block shots. He had five solid years in the NBA and just fizzled out. He had so many injuries though....can't predict stuff like that. But in college, he was the real deal."He who controlleths the backboard, controlleths the game." - Adolph RuppComment

Re: 2010 NBA Draft Thread.
Adrian Wojnarowski reports tonight that Derrick Favors will play one-on-one against DeMarcus Cousins on June 21 for the New Jersey Nets.
Favors' agent has been reluctant to allow his star to play against Cousins, but the Nets have convinced him to change his mind.
Here is an excerpt:
After some gentle prodding by the New Jersey Nets’ front office, Georgia Tech’s Derrick Favors and Kentucky’s DeMarcus Cousins – the top two big men in the NBA draft – will work out one-on-one against each other on June 21 in East Rutherford, N.J.
The Nets hold the third pick in the draft, and so far Favors’ agent Wallace Prather has been reluctant to let him get matched with the bigger, stronger Cousins on the floor. They worked out together in Sacramento on Saturday, but largely stayed in individual drills. Sources say Nets general manager Rod Thorn is leaning toward drafting Favors, but wants to see him in some contact drills with Cousins.Comment

Re: 2010 NBA Draft Thread.
the season was over, i kept wondering why people were posting in the NBA section.. apparently they have other games after the 82nd, i dont think it'll catch on tho. Playing more than 82 is just ridiculousEricmaynor3.com

Re: 2010 NBA Draft Thread.
Na but if Zach stays hungry this Summer [hopefully not in the literal sense] MEM might be able to get back into the playoffs.
So you'll be watching past 82 games for once since Pau left town.Comment

I think Avery Bradley will be the steal of this draft if he drops below the top 10.Comment
