Thats funny coming from a Yankees fan, very ironic.

Nope...Amare and LeBron sounds really good. But Bosh, Wade and LeBron sounds 100 times better. That would be 3 of the USA teams starters. And Pat Riley is a proven winner. Unlike the Knicks coach.

Guys I just heard a co-worker bet another co-worker $1000 if the Heat sign LeBron, Bosh and LeBron. That they will win the Championship this year. And every year after would be another $1,500. LMFAO...My VP's are crazy.

There isn't at thing wrong with Lebron going to whatever city he chooses or staying. He wants to go where he can win and win big.

It is the truth. No one Yankee determines our success or failure night in and night out. The success of the Yankees is mostly determined by our pitching staff, pitchers don't even play every game.

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread

I got a feeling that with all this attention going to Miami and New York, I still say that it's either between Cleveland or Chicago. The media has got us all wrapped up in these two cities when it comes to LeBron that I think this is purposely done.

I've stuck with Cleveland or Chicago from the very beginning and I'm still sticking with it.

And I'll say this, there seem to me that there's going to be some outrage with a lot of Knicks and Cavs fans if they happen to be spurned. Bulls and Heat fans seem content with their teams currently constructed that even if they don't get LeBron, they'd be ok with that.

Teams like the Knicks and Cavs are hinging on the LeBron decision because he is the difference between being a 50+ win team to competing for the 8th seed in the east.

As for the Nets and Clippers, I think that those fans might be resigned to the fact that they have little to no shot at LeBron. SO I would probably put them in the category of the Bulls and Heat fans because of that.

I was resigned to that fact for a minute now. Not gonna be upset because he didn't come to Jersey. My main thing is just to improve upon the mess that was the 2009-10 Season. Don't care how long it takes just get it done.

And the Clippers really had no chance from the get go anyway so I doubt their fans(if they have any still alive)will even care at all.

If this happens the closest comparison would be the Yankees and all the FA pitchers that run there. Its not against the rules to have a payroll that is twice as much as the avg teams, because it doesn't go against there sports rules. If Lebron joins them in Miami, none of them have skirted any rules. They want to win. Not trying to be a hypocrite because I wasn't giving him a hard time about his beloved Yankees. Trust me if the NFL ever went without a championship, you better believe my Cowboys would accumulate as much FA talent as Jones' deep pockets can handle. All in the name of winning.

Interestingly enough, the two best situations for LeBron (Nets and Clippers) are the least likely. Clippers for overall talent and the whole Kobe/LeBron egomaniacal garbage, and the Nets for the financial backing + awesome big man + young big man + talented PG + versatile swingman already in place.

Stupidity. Anyway, time to sleep. Catch up with y'all (and this crazy thread) in a few hours.

The difference between these situations and the Yankees is that they just keep adding more people every year. They didn't start off with 9 scrubs, dump all of them, and then sign 9 all stars in one offseason. Every year they get more, and people go to the Yankees because they know they can win. They don't all get together and decide, let's go get a ring.
