    3. That doesnt show hes a bad person as much as it shows hes immmature. A bad person and an immature person are totally different things.

    4. He was spot on, Gilbert is an idiot for lashing out publicly like that and for LeBron being such a bad person he certainly passed up on a golden opportunity to rip back into Gilbert but didnt.
Since when does refering to yourself in the third person makes you a bad person? LOL
You looking at the Chair MAN!

Number may not tell the whole story ,but they never lie either.

      1. No, I say that because he led the Cavs and their fans to believe that he had intentions of staying, which was a lie.

      2. News flash, you can have a ego and still show humility, which he didn't.

      3. Once again, shows that he has always pictured himself as better than the organization if he didn't feel the need to personally talk to anyone within the front office.

      4. Gilbert was only speaking the mind of everyone in Cleveland. After what they did for him and the way LBJ had handled himself the past few months (i.e: The Playoffs and this whole FA situation), LeBron deserved it. I understand taking the high road but Gilbert's rant had some merit.

As of now, the only thing Lebron has done for the Cavs to win a championship, is give us 2 first round draft picks in the years to come. Id say we paid a lot for those. You have to wonder if the cavs would have drafted another all star instead of Lebron, or just traded him for 2 great players, would the Cavs have been better off? I mean, we dont have a ring....just some tarnished MVP's. Personally, I dont see that Lebron gave us anything other then maybe finacial gain from ticket sales and endorsements.
The franchise went from being worth around $200 million to nearly $450 million. He made basketball relevant, sold product, and put butts in seats for Cleveland. Tourism, hotels, fan shops, restaurants, all benefited from him simply being there.

          1. Drug his hometown through a pile of **** on national television.
          2. Referred to himself in the third person 5-6 times on "The Decision"
          3. Didn't even personally talk to Cavs ownership before making the decision.
          4. Told Cavs owner Dan Gilbert he needs to look himself in the mirror for being upset.

This guy is an ego driven clown.
none of us know him personally.

          1. He never bad mouthed the city, and has continued to say how much he loves the area and the fans
          2. This is a practice done by athletes starting in the 60's and 70's. Watch NBA TV and NFL network and see the old interviews from the all time greats, you would be surprised
          3. In our jobs, a 2 week notice is not mandatory. Its a complimentary gesture. An owner, or boss has rarely ever given a player a 2 week notice that he was going to get cut.
          4. Gilbert does need to look in the mirror and show some self control. He came off looking bad while a 25 yr old had more media savvy than he did which is sad.

We only want loyalty when it benefits us and our agenda. Lebron had to be loyal to what he felt was in his best interest, that includes "The Decision" that was the 3rd most watched cable program this year getting 9.5 million viewers. He has to act selfishly when it comes to his choices because he has to deal with his choices not any of us.

Says the guy who openly admitted to jumping on the Heat bandwagon 3 days ago. Not the guy I want giving his opinion on loyalty.

            1. He was required to say he loved the fans and he should for all the support they showed him. But actions speak louder than words.

            2. I don't understand how this is a practice. I don't ever remember seeing the greats in the 80's and 90s in the NBA referring to themselves in the third person. Humility people, humility.

            3. A 2 week notice is what respectable people do and should do for someone who handed over the organization to you and paid you quite handsomely.

            4. Not sure what this is supposed to mean, seeing the general consensus was that this television special was the worst PR move in recent history. Not sure how that makes LeBron media savvy. This is deeper than just a business, this was one of their own.

The hell with the NBA fans...You think Lebron leaving was classless? Take a look at what everyone is doing. Damn critics.

Hell the Owner was paid VERY well. Now he wants to play the victim? I bet he wouldnt take back drafting Lebron. His pockets wouldn't be as fat.

Disclaimer: I'm not even a Lebron fan........I actually hate the fact that now I have to root for him.
