In the next year or two I agree, they are unproven. I don't expect the Knicks, if that line up was in place, to go right in and win the title. Some post season experience would be needed (hell, in Bosh's case too).

I guess that's where we disagree. I think he's the future of this team at the point.

Defensive-minded PG's are rare and his offense will develop to be more than adequate given what he brings to the table defensively. He's already a better shooter than anyone expected. His playmaking needs improvement, but if you have LeBron then you don't have to worry about that. Him being able to space the floor and make 3's while defending opposing point guards is ideal for LBJ.

As a starter, granted its a limited sample size (12 games) he averaged 14.5 ppg, 4 dimes, 3 boards and shot 42% from three - while playing above average D as a rookie.

D'Antoni is just a tool when it comes to playing rookies as of late. It's a joke that Duhon got burn ahead of Toney all year.

I agree with that assessment. I still think they need to bring in a strong vet in any case. I also agree that you can pretty much build the squad to your liking with a core of Bosh and James. In Chicago, you try to have to fit two square pegs together in Lebron and Rose. Obviously you want Lebron anyway, but I honestly think that Rose is a good enough player that you can build around.

I agree about the strong veteran PG coming in, just not sure who would fit that role that the Knicks could afford. Bringing back Spanish Chocolate def isn't the answer.

Did anybody see the article on the Lebron tracker about why the Clippers are a good destination? Very interesting read.

They have Griffin and Kaman for the pick and roll/pick and pop, Baron Davis to run the show so Lebron doesn't have to dominate the ball all the time, and Eric Gordon to stretch the defense and be a solid scoring option. I think it's pretty interesting really. The big downside is obviously that he'd be playing in the same city as Kobe (although that would be pretty amazing at the same time lol) and the fact that it's the Clippers and nothing good ever happens to them.

From a basketball perspective the Clips make plenty of sense to me, as does New Jersey.

Would like to see him go to the Clippers. It would be one fun rivalry. I also heard people trying to compare Blake Griffen to LBJ so that means he's pretty good right? Clippers with LBJ = Contender in next 2 years at least.

Man of course I would want LBJ in Chicago but I'm just trying to be realistic. We're in mid May and he can't even be recruited or contacted till July 1st.

I really hope New Jersey gets the top pick, but it never works out that way. I could definitely see LeBron there if they can land Wall.

If you're Minny, Sac-Town, Wizards, GS or Philly, do you take Wall with the top pick? Minus the Wiz, they've all drafted PGs recently.

Didn't Tyreke play 2 guard to end the season? It would be interesting to see Wall and Tyreke together.

Warriors, obviously Ellis would be the odd man out.

Minnesota, yes you go with Wall. Flynn is good but he isn't going to be a top PG I don't think. Who knows when Rubio finally comes.

Right now there is just a great abundance of good to amazing point guards in the league.

Dominating the ball is part of LeBron's game. Playing with Davis, or even Derrick Rose or Dwyane Wade is something I don't see working as great as many would like to think.

There was a column on ESPN about the players who would play best with LeBron. Not surprisingly I saw a ton of power forwards who can drop the baseline jumper.

I think the way he dominates the ball is the entire problem with why the Cavs struggle so much in the post-season honestly. The other guys don't get as many touches. If Lebron could work without the ball and get good looks to mix in with his ability to beat his man off the dribble, it just wouldn't be fair. And Baron isn't like Rose or Wade where he'd have to be shooting the ball a lot to be effective. He can be a distributer.

And regarding someone elses post, I think Sac-Town would take Wall because the guy that posted right after him is right; Evans was moved to the 2 by the end of the year.
