For the sake of argument though....if LBJ went to the Clippers they become instantly relevant.

      Pau wasn't a super star in 2009.

He was certainly a good #2 option but not close to a super star or Hall of Famer.

Miami-based sports writer Dan LeBatard is reporting that Chris Bosh may be sent to the Heat in a sign-and-trade for Michael Beasley, Mario Chalmers, and Joel Anthony.
So far this is an unconfirmed report, and in any case it cannot become official until the stroke of midnight. Jun. 30 - 10:57 am et

Yeah, just like the unconfirmed report of LeBron to the Bulls a done deal. And SAS, report of LeBron & Bosh going to Miami.

How many players would the Heat have under contract if this happened? Two?

LOL, did I say anything to even hint at that? No.

The point is that Pau is going to be a HOF, and was HOF level in 2009 and was this year. So many people think HOF has to equal a dominant super star when that's incorrect.

So? There are plenty of non-superstars in the HOF.

Why in the bluest of blue hells would Toronto take that garbage for Chris Bosh?

IDK, someone said Anthony opted out of his contract so thats a red flag to this report.

I Agree. They could have gotten better players from Houston who was willing to give up Scola, Landry and some other pieces for Bosh

Right, like they have a choice. If Bosh doesn't want to go to Houston, he's said for a while that he doesn't like playing around his home, Toronto can't force him there.

I agree with OSU. If this is at all true (I don't think it is, too many bs rumours this year) I guess they wanted something instead of a massive trade exception.

Meh, Beasley is still young and sadly has as good numbers as Andrea Bargnani.

Chalmers and Anthony are dudes I like so I got no problem with them.

This is actually a very solid deal IMO.

We still get an 8-9 million TPE with this deal.
