But what moves can the Cavs make that wouldn't compromise their depth? Which is an asset for them.

S&T Shaq, trade Delonte and Telfair's non-guaranteed contracts.

Depending on the size of the move, our top talent gets better and our depth gets worse or they had more depth. Either way, the Cavaliers have a very good position to improve this offseason.

The non guaranteed contract for Delonte sounds like a low risk, high reward for another team. Telfairs contract could be valuable depending on how much he's making. But I'm not sure about the sign and trade for Shaq. Who's giving up anything to get him?

Actually I just came across an article that says Shaq might be eyeing the Hawks, for a two year deal starting at about $5.8 mil. That would make more sense than anyone trading anything for an older unrestricted FA.

The Knicks have, maybe, 3 championship level players right now in Amar'e, Douglass and Gallo. The rest is garbage. Adding LeBron to that does not make you a title contender this year, next year or the year after.

The Bulls will have to trade Noah for Bosh. Otherwise, LeBron, Noah and Rose is not going to be enough for a few years. No shooters will hurt them significantly.

The Heat have no team. And the guys they have under contract are garbage.
            Based on what?

Props for bringing the old avi back though.

Part of me wants LeBron to crush these people, part of me wants him to stay in CLE and never win anything.

Skimming through the last couple pages of this thread is laughable. Some of you have your homer cap seriously a little too tight.

With that I'm debating locking this thread because at this point some of us can't handle this conversation.

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread

Everybody's(well not everybody)has had their homer cap on TOO tight since we got closer to FA.

Everytime a report came out saying Lebron was eating a Chicago Style Pizza came out: "Uh Oh, that's a clue that he's gonna sign with Chicago!!!"

Everytime a report came out saying Lebron was wearing a Yankees Fitted: "Uh Oh, that's a clue that he's gonna sign with New York, just like everyone has been saying the last 3-4 years".

(Using those 2 as just examples and not saying they've happened in here but it's been close)

Once it got down to that, it started to get downright ridiculous yet hilarious. With that said I wouldn't lock it but folks do need to get a grip on themselves(myself included)and stop thinking that every time a story about nothing about nothing that has something to do with Lebron automatically means that he's signing with (insert your team).

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread

At this point people are posting as LBJ was reading the actual forums trying to sell him on their team.

I'll put this myself in this group to a degree but I think we all need to take a deep breath, relax and wait because that's all we can really do.

                      Agreed.

No need to close it now. People have had their homer caps on since this threads been open. Nothing has really changed, imo.

The NY-hate during the FA period has been enjoyable and the hate on Gallo is some quality icing on the cake.

Can't score in the paint, who the **** was Dirk posting and toasting in 1999?

LMAO @ ripping a kid for not having a complete game at age 21 after one full season in the NBA. He's got no chance to go anywhere. No doubt he's peaked. The kid has shown no signs of anything and will probably be Peja Lite. He plays soft, doesn't play with fire and can't do anything but shoot spot up 3's.

It's a pity that Paul Pierce and Carmelo had such high praise for him, they really don't know anything about basketball, definitely not more than internet posters who watched pieces and bits of three Knicks games this year.

                              2. It's no surprise seeing current NBA Players having high praise for another current NBA Player. Hell that's pretty much the norm in today's NBA. I'm sure I can find plenty of comments from other NBA Players hyping up that basura that is Yi Jianlian lol.
