Yeah, part of me is excited to see someone completely reverse the consensus opinion from positive to negative without committing a crime of any kind.

But the more I think about it, the more I can't help but see him re-signing with the Cavs. Dumping them on TV is just too low. I mean, that is so. damned. low. I think that's just too far. As much as him joining the Heat is too much of an opportunity for either side to walk away from, doing it in a big TV reveals is like

If LeBron does go to Miami, does it hurt his "superstar" image? I personally feel it does, since if hey win it all (even worse if they don't), he had to get it done with 2 other superstars.

This isn't as bad as Modell moving the Browns only because the Browns are so much of a bigger deal, but it's close. Cleveland always gets **** on by national media and then other athletes (Noah, Bosh, etc). We have passionate fans who just want a winner here. It will be a very sad day/night if LeBron leaves the Cavs tonight.

My heart still says Cleveland, I still want it to be Cleveland, but if the announcement is at 9:10 tonight, by 9:11 LeBron would be dead to me as would the NBA at this point with their ridiculous free agency.

what will happen is that they will sign bosh and james...fill out the rest of the roster first, THEN sign Wade when they are over the cap since they have his bird rights.

I can't see him making the move to Miami. How can one of the biggest names in the sport, and recently the 2-time MVP, not have his own team? Everyone wants to rip the man about how arrogant he is and how his ego is about the size of the western hemisphere...but then he's going to share second fiddle with Chris Bosh behind D-Wade? No.

I want him to come to the Knicks, but at this point, I wouldn't even be slightly upset if he went back to Cleveland. ANYWHERE but to Miami with Pat the Rat, is acceptable at this point (which could be the suspense his people are going for by giving out false info as "sources.")

BTW, Vince...the Heat can't do that. Wades salary figure is counted against the cap even before he signs. If they renounce his rights, they can't resign him for a year (I think). Called a cap hold. The Heat roster will be the big three, plus AI, T-Mac, Spree, Karl Malone and three second rounders. Seriously tho...Bronny won't be the only ring chaser on that squad, guaranteed. White Choco has already offered his services, and he won't be the last.

Ahhhhhh another day of "As Lebron Turns"... ESBN @ it again. Leading the day with LBJ to the HEAT. Rolling puppet Broussard out claiming multiple sources. Yahoo's Wojina claiming LBJ was making recruiting calls to potential FA about joining the HEAT.

Yeah, I will be shocked if he leaves Cleveland at this point. With all his PR guru's surrounding him, there is no way they would allow his "brand" to take such a hit if he slays Ohio in primetime.

With all of the stuff that has been said, it will be almost impossible to defend this guy if he goes to the Heat for anyone I would think. First of all, he's hopped on board with two other stars hoping for an easy shot at a ring. Noone likes that. Secondly, he's ripped the heart out of his hometown on national tv. Noone likes that. And thirdly, this entire charade would seemingly have been for nothing. It was reporting weeks ago that these three would hook up in Miami, and if it happens, it would be impossible to think that any of these meetings were for real. It would all seem to have been a charade just for attention, and to be honest, I don't know how people are going to react with them in Miami. I think, for a guy whose brand, image, and winning are so important, he's going to kill all three of them in Miami.
