Respect him for staying in CLE but not for leaving? So you basically if he loses he takes home the moral victory of your respect but doesnt achieve what he's playing bball for

As opposed to teaming up with another star for a more legit shot at a ring whom he won a gold medal with?

Would it matter if it was him joining NY with Amare then Melo comes over?

I dont get it really but I dont feel the same way.
I'm hating on the parade and the three ring circus that has developed. Also, appearing to orchestrate all three players in one place.

I still don't think LeBron will be the Batman in Miami. That's D-Wade's city and he owns it. Everyone there loves him and I doubt LeBron will change that.

Well Big Baby can actually shoot the basketballl. Mo Williams is a good regular season PG and how is Antawn Jamison a championship PF, he has never even seen the finals?

Here is what I want to know: LeBron is always brand conscious, and he has to be aware of how much damage this would do to his brand, no matter what. Why is he doing this? Is someone flat out lying to him saying that they are getting great results? Do they think that any news is good news?

I don't know...this is so bizzare. LeBron's ego has taken a GIANT step. He is Jordan and Kobe combined with Tiger right now.

Wrong....He never called himself King James. If you know the true story was the guy that founded the Jordan Brand for Nike. I forgot his name. give LeBron James the nickname after giving him a tee with the name on it. He never give himself the nickname. And I remember that because I was following LeBron James (as a fan) way before that even happen. This during one of those ABCD camps in New Jersey.

Lebron: Oh yeah, now I won't go play with two of the top 7 players in the league. Not now that a shrimp PG in his 2nd year and not the fifth best PG in his class is here.

Bird, Thomas, Kobe, Jordan, Shaq, Pierce, Olajuwon all won with much better teams than LeBron's ever played on or maybe ever will play on in Cleveland.

                        Noah's much better, so yes.

Every team offering LeBron max money right now is a better basketball situation than Cleveland, except maybe New Jersey.

So if he is that good why would he leave? He should just man up and be better. That is what kings do. Obviously he has enough around his greatness to be competitive.

The last three NBA champs have been megastar teams. Paul Pierce and Kobe don't get knocked for it, but logically they had something of a similar situation happen to them. All-NBA players handed to them and they just put it on auto-pilot, playing the same way they have their whole career, on the way to a title. The only difference was their teammates.
Easy: because Kobe and Pierce stayed with the only team they'd ever played for and their GM's traded for a talented supporting star...or in Pierce's cases, two.

LeBron LEAVING his hometown team to join forces with two superstars is an entirely different concept that should and will be viewed at differently if he goes to Maimi. Totally different than if Wade and/or Bosh would have signed with Cleveland.

Someone I work with said he heard that if LeBron signs with Miami, the Cavs, Knicks, and Bulls are going to pursue tampering charges against the Heat. Not that it's going to do anything to change things.
Stern won't do anything. The Nets through Jay-Z have been tampering with LeBron for years.
