He shouldn't have been enabling the guy over the last 7 years, IMO. I feel bad for Cleveland and the fanbase, but Gilbert brought this upon himself.
Exactly. We all saw that team (not just Lebron either) quit, but with no "accountability" then. It's not "accountability time" after he leaves. That's crap. You kissed his *** for 7 years, kissed it for the last few weeks trying to get him to stay, and when he didn't, you now want to cry about it. You lost Gilbert, get over it.

But on a more serious note I wish he would have signed with Chicago so we could have some good eastern conference rivalres, like LBJ/Boozer/Rose vs Wade/Bosh vs Melo/Amare/Tony Parker(barring they joins the Knicks next year).
Also I don't think this will be a super team for another couple of years until they get some solid role players, and let their current rookies develop.

Props also to calling out ESPN and Jim Gray.

I feel that Mr. Stern is not going to be too happy about what these guys have done under the direction of Pat Riley. Because of these guys behavior the league will definetly be going into a lock out cause the owners will not be played again. They just made a pact with the devil and nothing good will come from it.

So owners can trade whomever they choose to, but free agents cant pick who they want to play with?

LOL @ Lebron castrated himself on national tv.

                    Cleveland sports radio is funny.

People disagreeing with how the fans are acting are ridiculous our just idiots. It would be like Albert Pujols leaving the Cards. If that happens I will do the exact same thing and I am a die hard Cards fan.

I will not put every Cav fan into the same category, because I'm sure some of you Cav fans actually have a brain.
                        Why?

It's their jersey's, they can do pretty much whatever they want with it. After what LeBron just did with dragging them through the mud, how can you say it's not justified.

And I'm not talking about loyalty or any of that bull****. I'm talking about sticking it to them on prime time TV.

This isn't about loyalty, this is about being a stuck up bitch just to be a stuck up bitch. This is about publicly driving a stake through Cleveland's heart. Calling his show "The Decision" was about as low a move as he could have done, he knew he was going to kill Cavs fans.

So no, loyalty, I don't give a damn. But is it hard to just release a press statement? But no, he had to spit in the face of every single one of these 5 teams fanbases.

Two players do not make a team. Not even close. You didn't address teh last part of my post: Who else is there on that team? Who is gonna sign min contract deals when it IS NOT A FOREGONE CONCLUSION that they will even win a championship in the next five years.

No, I am not seeing it.

Well, I never said that they cared about how anyone, including myself, felt. But, they put on a charade going on for more than a season about how they would "weigh their options." There were no options, because they were just going to end up together in whatever city would take (all three of) them. It was pathetic, immature and made a mockery of the NBA (free-agency). Which last time I checked we're all a fan of.

None of this **** involves any of us. But, apparently we all get caught up in it at least a little. Otherwise, we wouldn't spend time typing comments and reading posts.

The more I think about it the more I believe the Miami move was more for attention than anything else. Creating this " Super 2 plus another guy" was the best way for them to create that global brand because internationally Lebron and Wade sounds better than Lebron/Amare or Lebron/Chicago. I am starting to think they will try to hide behind the winning titles thing when it is really globally driven.
