Yeah the arrogance was of (recently banned word) proportions. Do LeBron's 'homies' who run his marketing company get a slice of everything he earns because this whole thing cost his brand tens of millions of dollars?

Anyone else been to www.chrisbosh.com ? Nice parting message from CB imo.

          Thanks for finding the quote.

Yeah, there is no way in hell this wasn't planned/thought out for months. Unless people really believe LeBron's magical dream gave him the answer to go to South Beach.

I guess Stern better start using his secret police to prevent NBA players from discussing potential future plans with one another or make a rule stating "no NBA team may have more than 2 friends on the active roster".
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

When it has been suggested that one of the reasons Lebron/Wade didn't go to Chicago was because they wouldn't the whole dancing thing or for Lebron entourage to have special access, it makes you wonder too.

The other problem I had with the pre-arranged thing was say at the deadline the Cavs really wanted Amare and knew they could sign him to an extension. Is it possible that Lebron pushed for Jamison because it would be easier to leave if they traded for Jamison and not Amare. Reportedly Lebron didn't want Amare because he wasn't sure how he would fit in with Shaq. So who knows.

Didn't Amar'e and Shaq do awful together in Phoenix or am I thinking of someone else? I think I remember that they absolutely could not play together.

David Stern already gave his nod not to ban the guys from talking to eachother

I mean truthfully, it happens all the time. He didnt say anything when Artest was all in the Lakers lockerroom asking to come to LA, and even before that

By J.A. AdandeThe tweet of the day goes to Amare Stoudemire, who got so frustrated at the misconceptions he felt compelled to write “I play very well with Shaq…You guys can stop saying we don’t play well together.

I'll say this and hopefully finally be done. What people see when they look at Bron is GOAT body, GOAT potential and Robert Horry mindset. It's no different than everything else about the NBA and basketball. There are guys that can be the absolute best the NBA has ever seen compete, there are guys who can be so good in the pros that they can be Hall of Famers, there are guys who can play the pro game at a high level for most of they're careers, there are guys who can find a little bit of success in the league from time to time and there are guys who are just there simply to fill out rosters.

Everything about LeBron James and the way he is made and things he can do on the court puts him in that first category, but he is choosing to be in that second or third tier. When you have Robert Horry talent, just playing the game to 'win championships' no matter how you do it and on who's team is fine. But when you're a LeBron James talent winning championships is fantastic and needed, but you understand that proving you're the absolute best pretty much nets you titles regardless.

This is basically robbing fans of what people pay to see and I guess LeBron felt this way too saying he'd spoiled fans with his play. The three of them (at least Wade and Bron anyway) cannot possibly play to the best of their abilities because they have to alter they're games too much to compliment each other. LeBron James can't be LeBron James when he's sitting back and allowing Dwyane Wade to carry the game. Dwyane Wade can't be Dwyane Wade when he's allowing LeBron to be LeBron. It's like an All-Star game or the Olympics. Just look back and watch the games of the stars change while Kobe does his thing or Carmelo does his, or Dwyane does his. People pay to see Bron and Wade playing to the best of their abilities, they're teaming up so they don't have to play to the best of their abilities. How anyone doesn't see the problem with that is something that will remain a mystery to me.
What a load of rubbish. NBA players aren't out there playing to satisfy your desire for them to be ranked amongst the greats of the game, they're out their to win games and championships. Why should they sacrifice the chance to win a championship by sticking with an inferior team? Just to get the respect of strangers out there who think it's better for their reputation to take the more difficult route? Get over yourself and stop acting like these athletes owe you something.

You don't know how this will play out so don't pretend to. I've read enough armchair expert posts on this site to know that most members, while so certain that they're right, turn out to be full of ***t. Just look at all the predictions people made for which team Lebron would go to and their rants to support these predictions, how many got it right? Not many.

People talk about Lebron's ego but their are some pretty big ones on this site as well.

Oh I just wanted to clear up that I didn't say Lebron definitely wanted Jamison over Amare for the reason of it being easier to leave. I just meant the way things have supposedly went down at least made me think about the possibility.

                          Says the Heat fan...

This team isn't guaranteed to win championships either.

If you act like LeBron doesn't owe Cleveland ANYTHING than your kidding yourself. They gave him the world and the franchise. Was that wrong? Maybe. But he owed Cleveland an honorable departure and not this charade of dragging them through the **** pile on national television.

Couldn't even talk to ownership to let them know, He had one of his "boys" talk to them. What a coward.

Also, I definatly would have watched an hour-long ESPN Ron Artest special if he would have decided to have one last year, to see him just rip the hearts out of the Houston Rocket organization and fans would have been great television.
