Yeah, you pretty much said that. Tell me if my edits changed your meaning or if they removed lack of specificity like I intended.

LeBron was my third favorite superstar in the league up until the playoff debacle last year, only trailing D-Wade and Deron Williams. And this was both
    A) After the whole James/Noah thing last year
    and
    B) Knowing that LeBron had the talent to pass MJ, and that he was a legitimate threat to do it.

But I especially like your arrogant shrugging off of my opinion. "LOL"

Do I have the right to accuse all Knicks fans of unjustly hating LeBron because one or two guys on an internet board took the result of The Decision a bit harshly. Get back to me on that one because you've certainly implied the answer is yes with your logic.

Brought all this on himself. He'd be a fool if he thinks he didn't.

Only way he's really going to shut most people up is by winning a Championship THIS year. That's not fair against him nor should it be but when you pull the stuff someone like him has pulled in the last 4-5 Months, then that's what you have to do to shut people up once and for all.

doesn't that make it fair that he has to win?

Speccifically messageboards? Maybe not. Overall internet hate? Oh yeah. Half the reason he put up his Twitter is so he could be aware of what the general perception and reaction is to his personality, his celebrity, and his career. He has said as much himself. He has also said "I am paying attention to everyone taking shot sat me. Everyone. And I will remember."

This was addressed to everyone from random beat writers to the interwebz. Same way he announced the Decision publicly, he wants his championship campaign to be a public FU to everyone who has said anything negative about him, and he's cataloguing it just so he knows who he's giving the finger to.

Actually, I've been flat out ignoring this thread and much of the basketball media since the Decision, and since the World Championship was over. I figured it's mostly people who are bored that are trying to conjure up something to talk about. Now the season is about to begin, so I'm interested in the discussion again.

                  Basically.

If he didn't care, then I'm pretty sure he'd just leave that whole thing BEHIND him and move on with the future which is with Miami. He may not care alot or anything significant, but he cares, Otherwise he wouldn't have posted what he did on his twitter, which I don't understand what the purpose of that was anyway.

I pretty have avoided it too occassionally looking in and seeing people not only waste their time on his decision but spend months complaining about it

Now if LeBron goes on twitter talking to people like this, someone will set their home town on fire

Yeah, this isnt the first time he's talked out of both sides of his mouth. Earlier when he was interviewed, he tried to act like he didnt care and what not but then he turned around and said he's keeping a list of names.

It was obviously a generalization and an observation I've made of different forums. I'm not going to argue with you if you disagree, and I know there's a lot of Bulls fans who post here so no offense to you and the Bulls fans.

The fact is that there's a lot of NBA fans period who don't like Lebron/the way he handled the whole offseason thing. To single out one fanbase as being more hateful than the other seems sort of shortsighted, even people in ATL were booing him last night, theoretically what reason do they have to hate him? It's probably going to be like that for every road game for the Heat, to single out one fan base (in this case the Bulls) and say they hate LeBron more than any other is shortsighted given the facts. A lot of people hate LeBron after this offseason, doesn't mean they're wrong, jealous, or vindictive. Just means that LeBron did a lot that turned certain people off of him.

You are definitely right with that general statement, but I've observed particular fan bases and certain ones have definitely stood out more than others.

LA/CLE fans are no doubt in my mind culprits #1. Kobe fans especially love to bask in any negative LeBron PR. Obviously the same could be said about CLE fans, which is completely understandable. LA fans are the worst though because they have no good reason except their adoration for Kobe to enjoy and soak up any thing negative that is LeBron. It's funny.

Chicago fans are to a much lesser extent, but they definitely stand out to me.

                            Once again just an observation.

He'll be back. He'll win a few chips in MIA, then come home while the media faps themselves to death to a glorious "unfinished business" theme.

Then, he'll blow both knees in preseason.

                              Book it.
