Re: Where does LeBron rank all-time?

I think he's in the 15-20 range right now. Ahead of guys like Drexler, Barkley, Ewing, etc... On sheer talent alone, Top 5 easy. If he retired today he'd easily be the best player ever w/o a ring.

Paul Matthew Pressey (born December 24, 1958 in Richmond, Virginia) is an American former professional basketball player. Pressey is widely, though unofficially, credited with being the originator of the point forward position, combining the attributes of a point guard and forward. While playing small forward for the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1980s, Pressey took on many of the ball handling duties, even leading the team in assists for five straight years...

LeBron doesn't owe anybody an apology for leaving after 7 years. We were never bad enough to draft high, never had the pieces to trade for a great player, never could reel in a Robin. Is what it is.

Apologize for quitting against a team we beat by 20+ twice that year, including a 30 point playoff beatdown when you decided to actually show up for a game. Apologize for making your impending "decision" as big a reason for FA's not coming here as the weather or the city's negative perception. Apologize for refusing to let your hometown team at least know what you wanted so they could get something for you. Apologize for putting your family, friends, and most supportive fans in the league on blast on national TV. Apologize for planning all this **** for years, even before knowing what we could or could not put around you. Or STFU.

I do believe he's sorry about how it all turned out, but he can shove his "apology" straight up his ***.

I'm over the bitterness towards him (it probably helps that I'm not from or live in Cleveland), but aside from the last part, I feel the same way.

                Not even surprised.

I think a lot of people thought Maverick was the one pulling the strings anyways.

Regardless of who's idea the decision was he took part in the antics. LeBron will forever be my most disliked sports figure of all time. The heavy breathing the staring at benches or off into space after he makes a play. The guy acts like the NBA is the WWE and who knows Stern might not be to far from Vince McMahon. All commissioner Stern is doing is giving people what they want a male soap opera nothing more nothing less.

Now getting back to LeBron. They guy is the ultimate ME guy and it will keep coming out over the years how this guy thinks he walks on water. I'm still trying to figure out how he get's that huge head of his in American Airlines Arena every night.

I don't take anything that guy says seriously. It all about self promotion with LeBron. That's why people dislike him, he and David Stern will be the ruin of the NBA.

Lebron was a ''me'' guy before he went to MIA and no one had a problem with it but when he mad e his decision and left Cleveland thats when all the hate began. He was dancing on the sideline and taunting crowds and benches well before this year.

I guess stacking one team NBA Live cheeser-style carriers weight for fans who are drawn to this once-proud league by the WWE/soap opera angle, but for most of us 30-somethings (who grew up with Magic, Larry, Isiah, and MJ), the success and future successes of Miami's three "Bosom Buddies" would not even be in the same ballpark. How can any true NBA fan outside South Beach truly respect LeBron (notice I left Wade out because he willed his team to the '06 crown) for joining forces with a Top-5 player and a Top-20 player because he couldn't get the job done on his own? That would be the equivalent of John Grisham deciding halfway through writing "The Firm" that, despite it's obvious bestseller potential, he couldn't finish the rest of the book on his own....and then got Stephen King and Ann Rice to finish it for him.
