LeBron says he would NOT rule out playing for the Cavs again. That if he went back, he hopes the fans would accept him again.

Isn't LeBron James a Dallas Cowboy fan?

I don't care what hat he wears or where he wears it. But the fact that he's a yankees, cowboys and bulls fan (the biggest franchises for front runners when he was growing up) and he decided to go to try to build an all star team to get a ring says a lot about the dude to me.

JSmoov, if you refuse to read the entire thread then you really should just shut up about it. You can speak on LBJ in general of course, but there's no reason to challenge any Cavs fan or rehash any question that's clearly already been answered here. You say "Why"... the answer is simple. Because you're posting in the same freakin thread where all of your questions are already answered. Not to mention OSUfan posting answers that you just straight up ignored.

People don't have a hard time hanging around here. This place is regarded as one of the last bastions of intelligent basketball discussion by those who post here. We know what happens and what other forums are like. If you're not a fan of how it works around here, or aren't used to it, you are free to take it elsewhere man. I'm sure other places have hundreds of LeBron related threads that could easily go into one mega-thread. That's all this is. One compiled, organized place to discuss all things related to him, because we realize he's a hot button issue and don't want clutter. If you don't want to read a ton of pages, that's your perogative sure, but don't sit here and rehash old stuff then expect others to do the same when the same things have been talked about ad nauseum for like 3 years now.

People don't have a hard time hanging around here. This place is regarded as one of the last bastions of intelligent basketball discussion by those who post here. We know what happens and what other forums are like. If you're not a fan of how it works around here, or aren't used to it, you are free to take it elsewhere man. I'm sure other places have hundreds of LeBron related threads that could easily go into one mega-thread. That's all this is. One compiled, organized place to discuss all things related to him, because we realize he's a hot button issue and don't want clutter. If you don't want to read a ton of pages, that's your perogative sure, but don't sit here and rehash old stuff then expect others to do the same when the same things have been talked about ad nauseum for like 3 years now.

Man I don't have a problem with the threads, I just don't like how certain discussions between a couple of people devolve into petty arguments based on a person's personal feelings.

For example, why do I have to shut up about the situation just because I won't go back and read over a thousand pages of a topic, and because I don't necessarily agree with Cavs fans' POV? The opinion is my opinion, people shouldn't be taking it so personally.

I mean, I say it's reaching when it's assumed LeBron is intentionally screwing Cleveland over by wearing a Yankees hat at a playoff game. I then get told if I don't understand that, then I'll never understand why Cleveland fans are STILL hot over him leaving? I mean, that's the first thing I said: I don't understand why Cleveland fans are STILL mad. That means I generally KNOW why there mad, but I can't process what one man is doing to thousands of people to make them SO upset.

I'm not gonna say I'm done with this site, but I now know which threads I'll be staying out of.

I know it's been stated a million times in this thread before, but it's not just because he wore a damn hat. It's because he basically, just strung Cleveland along and did a bunch of things that added up (they've all been stated in the last few days and they're all very valid. Some more than others), that's why everyone in Cleveland ended up so pissed at him.

You ask why people are still mad? Well, it's because people are passionate about sports, that's why! Hell, you don't think that people in Chicago are still pissed at Steve Bartman? All he did was one small thing that lasted a split second and he got all kinds **** threw at him, death threats, etc. What Lebron did was different. It was premeditated. He knew what he was doing all along and still played Cleveland for fools. That kind of behavior is just unforgivable. I know this is a terrible analogy, but I liken it to a woman who cheats on her husband. It's one thing for her to go out on a girl's night out and drunkenly make out with someone, but it's another for her to go behind his back and have a year long affair where she repeatedly lies and manipulates her husband. Both are bad, but one is far worse in my eyes.
Again, I know that's a horrible analogy, but that's kind of how people felt.
