Maybe a little late but if anyone cares, Udonis Haslem is shooting a career worst 41.8% (16% from 10-15 ft, 39% from 16-23 ft). I probably wouldn't be inclined to put him in a situation to take a shot like that with the game on the line...

Yea but Haslem takes 2 of those a game and I'd venture to say 90% of them are wide open.

In regards to the "Murse" (Man Purse)

i feel the same way. and even the "Decision" didnt bother me too much, i mean ESPN most likely paid him big for it, im guessing it was a big part of ESPNs idea, if not completely their idea. im just a little disapointed in LBJ for going along with it.

but 2 years later i am WAYYYY over the decision, it doesnt bother and i dont get why it still bothers some people. besides that thing he has really done nothing. i mean he isnt really a loud mouth like Rasheed Wallace, he isnt too cocky and full of himself like Kobe, he just really doesnt do that much harm.

but whatever, this whole argument about why people hate lebron, and discussion about how horrible of a person he is, is so last year.

              Less pressure.
No, that was a fatal error but trying to correct it was most definitely the right thing. He can't be a villain. I said it from the jump, he doesn't have the mental make up for it. It was a horrible idea and has effected his development imo. It'll take longer to recover from that stupidity than some want to believe, but since he's gone back to trying to be the golden child I've seen growth in his game again. Crazy thought bc he's so damn good either way but he's posting up more, not settling for 3's for games at a time, more efficient across the board. He's on the right track, just keep your damn mouth shut.

BTW, this was also part of my argument for why he shouldn't have left Cleveland. He was pretty much untouchable as a Cav. Making the decision to leave also means he needs to mature A LOT to handle everything that comes along with that, and he's barely scratching the surface in that regard.

Are you serious? LeBron's the cockiest athlete I've ever watched...

my beef with anything associated to lebron james is the media's hounding of him, fans are gonna like or hate any great player for any number of reasons and thats fine because usually no matter how ridiculous or shrewd they are usually consistent with their love/hate... but the way that certain analysts critique what he does in the last quarter of games is so hypocritical to me.. for the first 4 years or so they were all shouting ad nauseam about what a gifted scorer an athlete he is, but what made them wet their pants with glee was that he was unselfish with the ball, if you were open he would pass it instead of forcing shots... now 4 years later they are like a pack of rabid racoons going after candy cause he doesnt take the last shot of the freaking all-star game?

If anything LBJ could be described as schizophrenic in these situations. He has shown numerous times both the willingness and ability to get it done in end of game moments (last year's playoffs up until the Finals for instance) and he can be strangely passive as well. Some of it may be attributed to not being entirely comfortable with his jumpshot for so long. In many cases early on if he didn't see a clear path to the basket he'd automatically revert to looking for a teammate.

In any case, ring/s for LBJ means most if not all of his flaws (both personal and on the court) will be glossed over, fair or not. Before KB got ring number 4 many had written him off as a pariah and the MJ comparisons had all but been erased away. Fast-forward past ring number 5 and you no longer hear words like "inefficient", "selfish" ect being hurled at him on an hourly basis. Now some have him as high as top 5 All-Time and he's hailed as the prototypical offensive guard. LBJ doesn't have to doing anything out of the way to "mature" or get people love him. All he has to do is win, people love winners. No matter how *****y their personalities are.

you hit the nail on the head with those last three sentences, because the moment he wins his first chip, and lets be honest hes only 26 so its just a matter of time before he wins one, the media will go back to treating him the way they did prior to "the decision"... its the nature of sports journalists to build someone up just so they have the satisfaction of tearing their *** down, and once the player in question wins they revert back to loving him again (or at least not nitpicking everything he does, good example of this is A-Rod)

Sure they do. Look no further than our most beloved winner over last decade, Tiger Woods. All a person has to do is not be a criminal (or a horribly bad person terms of his/her morals or at the very least not project it) and dominate at the highest level he'll always have a place in hearts of the majority of people. Hell, Tiger still has a huge stable of fans even though he hasn't won anything substantive in over 2 years and he's been exposed as mostly a liar, hypocrite, ***hole, adulterer ect. All on the strength of fact that at one time he was one of the most incredible winners we've ever seen.
