lol, imagine if Lebron(and some other star player(s)) just trolled the NBA big time and went to Toronto. Forcing the USA media to no longer get as much coverage of him, no more games on ESPN,TNT,ABC or anything. Going somewhere that most of USA media doesn't know much "aboot" and those stations that carry NBA won't have as much opportunities to interview them unless those people want to stay in Canada for fair part of NBA season

I'd agree with those except maybe the Rockets.

Thoughts? I'd love to see LeBron play on team like the Warriors, I think that would be a fun, fun team to watch.
This hypothetical is exactly why I dont understand the rationale of "The Heat just won two titles and 3 finals appearances! Why would he leave?"

This is not Chalmers or Battier we're talking about here. Its LeBron. The best player in the world.

Any half decent team LeBron goes to instantly becomes a title contender. He is not dependent on the team. The team is dependent on him.

Watching the 2008 Eastern Conference semifinals between Boston and Cleveland and its pretty bad watching this offense. The offense was basically PnR with Lebron and Varejo. If that got shut down it was pass around the perimeter to find the open shooter.

Lebron had to work so hard in that offense and he just wasn't equipped yet. Maybe today's Lebron could pull that off but it was seriously too much for a 23 year old.

You can also see a good view of the brilliance of Thibs' - that Boston defense covered every weakness they may have had quickly. Every Cleveland basket looks tough in this first half.

That's basically how his whole career was come playoff time in Cleveland. Just look at the shots he had to take and make in that epic Pistons series as well.

I almost wish LeBron would play selfish just one season in Miami, just to see how crazy his numbers could be. Then again he could stay the course he's on now and make his team better as a unit and 3 peat! Whichever lol.

Or was it that Mike Brown had no clue what he was doing offensively ? I remember mostly isolation plays were drawn up for Lebron. Especially late game situations.

He's built an entire career off a "just give the ball to the star" offensive strategy.

Let's not COMPLETELY throw him under the bus. John Thompson's "offensive" philosophy could be simplified in a similar way... in both cases we'd be ignoring the real reason anyone wants them leading their team, defense.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not convinced that Brown's defensive genius outweighs his horrible offensive coaching ability. But it's not completely crazy to think that if a coach can just have SOME KIND of offense to go along with the best player in the game and a top flight defense, he should be extremely successful. It just needs to be more than the Le-Iso crap Brown was pushing in Cleveland.

Those passes he was making in high school are damn impressive.

Makes you realize how good he was so fast. For example for all the hype Wiggins is receiving, he isn't making those kinds of plays. Goes to show how rare these kind of guys are.

That's the exact thing I was thinking. Even some of the passes while he was in the league, its just a rarity to see other guys do that.

It was funny to me that two of the biggest negatives he's had over his career are that he isn't clutch and can't shoot 3's very well. It was crazy to see all of those big shots all in a row. Lots of buzzers beaters, 3 pointers, and game winners. Watching this you'd never imagine he could have that sort of negativity.

For you OJ, I see you talk about this all the time...

As Charles Barkley is so fond of saying, Father Time is undefeated. It’s obviously true that age eventually beats the great athlete, but decline isn’t so linear.
