    All I'm saying is that in the grand scheme of things if LeBron handles this situation the way Scoop wants him too then LeBron has much more to lose than Gilbert in the long haul. Owners look out for one another. If he screws over The Cavs like that then he can pretty much guarantee himself having a extremely hard time becoming a owner in the NBA. For him to pull a stunt like that would be unprofessional.

    Again not saying Gilbert wasn't unprofessional. But LeBron should be the bigger guy. That would be like Magic going hard at Sterling. Magic to the higher road. I hope LeBron does the same.
    Fair enough. I'm convinced after all of this drama that this isn't real life anyway, I fully expect LeBron to go full on Hogan NWO heel turn at this point.

      Are we really acting like Lebron didn't do something disrespectful himself that started this whole thing?

          The interwebs would explode. If that happens this might be worse than the decision lol

            I went on record as hating the Decision, it sucked for the fans and city of Cleveland. But this is the power you give athletes when they represent a 40 win difference for your franchise, and it was for charity. That was probably a higher rated event than most playoff games that year. LeBron was set up to fail with that event. I don't think he went in with the intention of disrespecting Cleveland, unlike Gilbert who specifically wrote that letter to disrespect LeBron. LeBron went on TV to say he was joining the Heat, not F the Cavs. Also, he's admitted publicly that he made a mistake, something Gilbert again didn't do, and only took the letter down to beg LeBron to come back.

              At this point, Decision II would've been better than what the media has created. If LeBron doesn't go to Cleveland now everyones going to be mad at him for doing nothing at all.

                      BTW, this is just garbage at this point.

                      @sam_amick

                      The Cavaliers have not been informed of LeBron James' decision and know nothing of a possible afternoon announcement, I'm told.

                                The difference is him not letting the Cavs know prior to announcing it on the Decision. They found out like every one else. That's disrespectful to a team that had done everything for him in his previous eight years. Dan Gilbert didn't buy the team until '05 and he took care of LeBron and his crew and let them have free reign throughout the team. He owed the team better than how they found out.
