Just a pet peeve of mine when I hear comments like these from the Armchairs, lol.

But I’m the GOAT armchair, so it’s all good [emoji23]

But IDK, maybe he really wants to stay in the East.

While I don't necessarily disagree with this, I'm also not talking JUST from a basketball perspective. I do think LeBron is the type who prefers the younger, less experienced coaches that will give him the rope to freelance and play his game out on the court as opposed to someone who has a system that he wants to run and will want LeBron to run the offense the way he wants it run.

But, we I talk about structure in an organization I'm talking about LeBron's crew. He wants his guys to have access to the organization and the facilities to come and go as they please. Part of that was why he left Cleveland the first time and it was part of the reason he left Miami as well when Pat wouldn't cater to those guys and allow them to do whatever the hell they wanted like in Cleveland before they started to say no. There's structure in San Antonio and no player is bigger than the team in that culture there. Maybe LeBron has finally matured now in his time in Cleveland the second go round and maybe his friends have as well. But just knowing how the Spurs are run and how LeBron has shown to be in the past I'm not so sure it'd work out for him in San Antonio.

Can't work. Westbrook can't be dealt until almost the end of September (at least according to the ESPN trade machine).

But what a WWE story this would be. Lebron left Cleveland, joined Miami, beat Durant/Westbrook on OKC. Lebron returned to Cleveland, lost one and won one against the Warriors. Durant turns on Westbrook, joins the Warriors, helps them beat Lebron. Then Lebron goes and gets Westbrook to join him in taking on Durant and the Warriors.

How would the Cavs even have enough room to get Westbrook?

On top of that I think that would be a disastrous pairing.

This is the best offense LeBron has excelled the best. It was after the first year. You can't focus on one player when the ball is hoping around like this. And best of all it gets players involved.

This is what I'm talking about, when you keep the ball moving on offense and keep everybody involved you've got a much better chance to win most nights. I think LeBron handles the ball entirely too much and there's too much ball sticking in the offense the Cavs are running. Make the defense work a little, get them off balance. You also get the added bonus of the other guys being more motivated on the defense end to take those charges, move those feet. Guys are more engaged on both ends of the floor when they feel like they're involved.

Even looking at the offense here...

Compare that offense to what's going on here. Who's making the extra pass here? How many passes do you see in a possession for the Cavs? They're scoring baskets in this vid, but how sustainable is that offense in a playoff series? Especially one against an elite team like the Warriors.

The deal would probably end up something like Love + Hill + the guy they drafted 8th overall + other pick(s). If the Cavs have to retain more salary(depending how Love + Hill vs Westbrook is live), then maybe a throwin like Patterson goes their way.

But regardless, if a deal can't even happen until weeks before the 2018-2019 season begins, don't see anything happening. Would teams agree to a big deal like that 3 months in advance and just wait the whole time?

If the Cavs ended up with Westbrook I’d give up and pledge my allegiance to Detroit.

Westbrook and Lebron on the same team might as well play 2v5 because it's gonna be houston's iso offense with no shooting...

If Westbrook says he wants to go to just the cavs it would be something like whoever they pick at 8, Zizic, Rodney Hoods RFA rights, and Hill to get close to matching Westbrook salary which is also expiring they can keep or flip later.

OKC isnt getting a ton in a Westbrook trade because hes limiting himself to wanting out to one team and the cavs arent going to tear down their team for less chance at a title.
