Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
I'd like to give a shoutout to the Bucks for being huge winners in this draft.
Unloading John Salmons god awful contract? Check.
Unloading Corey Maggette's god awful self? Check.
Acquiring a guy that can create his own shot while still playing within a team's offense? Check.
Acquiring a good PG to play a Luke Ridnour role on our team? Check.
Drafting a young SG or SF with a strong work ethic and a lot of potential/athleticism? Check.
The Bucks did just about everything I could have dreamed of them doing this offseason just yesterday alone. I couldn't be any happier. We're speeding up the rebuilding process while actually getting better at the same time.NFL: Bills

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
Agreed. I actually like the Thompson pick for you guys. He's sort of like JVal in the sense that I don't think Cleveland would have expected either guy to be a go-to scorer or anything. JVal would have offered a better pick and roll game, but I think Thompson might end up being able to score in more ways than JVal when it's all said and done, and every team should go after high motor guys like Thompson.
That Justin Harper trade though...NFL: Bills

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
JJ still has some big upside. Dude has offensive ability that's incredible. Unfortunately, the guy plays literally 0 defense unless he has the opportunity to make a highlight style play. He's also a moron who doesn't know what the hell is going on around him. He also has hands of stone. That being said, his jumper is much more consistent and has great ability on the pick and roll.

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
The Pistons did ok. They finally have a real PG and Stuckey can move to the 2 now. I guess its safe to say Tayshawn is gone, but its still a gang of forwards on the team, and I don't see where Singler breaks through.
As far as the Lakers, Darius is a perfect PG for them and they can phase D. Fish out. Andrew is probably the 2nd best shooter in the draft. I won't go on after that though.Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Michigan

Kemba and Biyombo seem like a decent tandem to grow with.Originally posted by My Wife"The Celtics only won because they have a magical elf playing for their team...."Comment

I like Kemba there, but I'm unsure about Biyombo. Something about him just screams torn ACL to me, just the way he plays and lands on his legs scares me.Follow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment

The knocks are that Bismack is so bad offensively that unless he's an elite defender that he'll be a major reach at #7 and that they already have a small PG with DJ Augustin."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
