Yeah Monster Mash was a beast but i think Barnes could rival him athletically but will need to hit the weight room to rival Mash's strength and Mash had a nice low post game / fadeaway etc that Barnes hasn't developed yet.

He does rely pretty heavily on the jump shot but his shot is decent so that's not necessarily a bad thing considering college teams often play zone and clog the lane. Nba rules should give him some more room to move imo.

Or I could be completely wrong (like I have been many times before ) and he could suck and I could eat crow but i think out of all the prospects save maybe Kyrie he has a game that will translate best to the pro game out of all of this years (relatively weak) draft. Right now I see him as being anywhere from Loul Deng to the 25ppg Mash range of talent. I don't think he's going to be the next Kobe or anything but I think he could def be an allstar and and top 10 scorer one day.

He showed down the 2nd half of the season he is a player, he didn't drive as much as most fans would have liked he rarely got to the free throw, but in the tourney he showed that he can drive to the basketball, I think the pre-season pressure got to him.

That's why I said one of if not the biggest weakness in his game is attacking the basket and getting to the free throw line. He mid range game and pull up jumper are both very good and he settles for that to a fault. Even in that mix you could see how good he was off the dribble.

Until he changes that about his game. I'm going to keep thinking he is Marvin Williams 2.0.

maybe but he's already a better shooter than Marvin and a much better pro prospect imo but yeah that is the concern. I still get mad thinking about how awesome Chris Paul would have been on that Hawks team throwing lobs to Josh Smith.

I'm not as sold on Derrick Williams as some are. I think he's gonna be a solid pro but i don't think he warrants a number 1 pick.

Looking at this draft I'm struggling to think of a weaker one.....

Kenneth Faried will be the player every team regrets not taking a lot higher when they look back a couple years after the draft, like Noah and Dejuan Blair.

Kemba Walker will also be a good pro.

Totally agree with that. Dude has a big motor and rebounds like a young Rodman. If he slips below 20 someone is getting a bargain.

Bismack Biyombo's stock is streaking...a 6'8" Congolese kid with springs and a ridiculous 7'7" wingspan.

He had a trip dub in the Nike Hoop Summit with 10 blocks.

And people say this draft is weak. It's just like all the other ones, imo.

Biyombo is intriguing. And at just 18yrs old, he can still grow another two inches or more and continue to bulk up. 7'7" at just 6'8" out of his shoes is ridiculous.

I wouldn't touch Bismack. Young guys with no offensive games don't have a high ceiling in the NBA.

                          Give me Kanter before Bismack.

No word yet, at least not anything I heard. I think He will wait until next week to announce. Him, Jones and knight have a lot to think about.
