The Thunder celebrated harder than he Heat last night, and they won Game 5...not a peep.

Like, I said....something needs to be found to take away from any type of success Bron has...its pretty sad

Funny thing is, im not a huge Bron fan or anything....I just have a low tolerance for nonsense lol

I mean even last night after the Heat won. People were talking about their celebration. It didn't look at bad. When I re-watched it this morning. I mean the cameras are so tight on them. That it literally looks like they are celebrating a finals victory.
It's not so much about the acts themselves. Because Lord know, no one can win the championship if he does the Dougie! It's basically the age we live in where media is much more accessible as ever. Trust me, if Magic and Bird was to play in their primes now, Magic would probably be one of the most hated players in the NBA because of some pre-game antics he would do. Fans would be petitioning the league to change the logo from Jerry West to Larry Bird because he prepares before the game the right way.

Now I do think fans take it a little too far but it's more of the 'old schoolers' (like me) who take offense to it. I don't have a problem with it if it's Game 40 in the regular season. However, if your team is down 3-2 in a playoff series facing elimination, then I'd take the game a little more serious. And it's not to say that doing the Dougie or taking snap shots of your team mates before the game cause you to loose BUT it gives media and fans extra ammo to pile on the loss.
I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. Than the one who comes up like an angel and is nothing but a devil. - Malcolm X

Didn't bother watching either game since I could tell it was a foregone conclusion. But did LeBron really break down after the game? Did he win a friggin' ring last night? Cuz he's sure acting like it. Apologizing for The Decision and all that? What the crap...

Thank you. It is like the man can do no right. There was people in here going crazy over dude standing there after hitting those threes but they say nothing when guys go running back up the court making three goggles are some other silly crap. He gave Boston props after the game and there was people jumping in here instantly saying it was all PR talk and a bunch of crap. I guess some people will always have to find something to try to bring him down.

I mean doesn't Ray Allen do the 3 finger thing after he hits 3 pointers. Does that mean we can throw the Jordan "Shrug" in there too? lol jk

But man re-watching the game again. And the Boston missed Rondo last night big time towards the end of the game.

I'm not positive about this, but how many of us actually watched it through to the end of that game last night? Lol, I turned the Thunder game off at like halftime because you could just tell it was a wrap, and then I just checked the Western Conference thread like a half hour later to make sure there was no comeback going on. I would have complained about the Thunder celebration too if I had actually cared to watch the whole game.

How dare anyone raise their voice against the King? May they be stricken down with a livid plague, and have their feet flayed, and be made to walk barefoot on the hot sands of the Sahara for the rest of their pathetic wholesome lives.

Seriously, I don't think anyone cares anymore.

Yep. I was arguing with my brother about that last night. Like I told him, when you watched the game, the Celtics looked lost on the final 5 or so possessions.

                      1:02 PP bad pass
                      :36 Delonte bad pass
                      :30 Delonte offensive foul
                      :30 Delonte turnover

Celtics never had a chance with Delonte in there.

This really puts things in perspective for me.

June 17, 2008 was the greatest sports moment of my life. Cannot forget what those guys did and how much they mean to Boston.

There are players that are easy to root against for whatever reason. Whether it be LeBron, Kobe, Alex Rodriguez, Ben Rothliesberger, Mark McGwire, Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, etc. Has nothing to do with their performance on the court or field, that is not the reason they are "hated" (as people like to say.) People usually don't root for people who think they are a god on earth. No amount of statistical articulation is going to convince those people otherwise. I personally don't like how he carries himself, and I won't be leading the victory parade if they win a title this year, but to not respect his Basketball skills is lunacy.

Just watch the video... (don't mind the beats pro-mo at the end lol)

Delonte is a great defensive guard (can cover 2) and a good spot up shooter but he doesn't have does point guard skills. When you have Paul Perice starting the offense. Your half way home on defense. Even the pass that West made (was stolen by LeBron). Even that pass was questionable. Not having Rondo on the floor hurt them a lot. He would of settled things down after that LeBron's first 3 or After Bosh's dunk.

2 of my favorite players won a ring that day. Before LeBron... my favorite player was Paul Perice. I loved watching him play. Even though everyone called him slow. He had a move or counter for everything you threw at him.
