Re: NBA Off-season Movement & FA List (PG 1 Updates)

If Atlanta is to trade Josh Smith, they should look to get a big that will allow Horford to play the 4 more often. I'm not sure what goes on behind the scenes but Jeff Teague seemed to show some things in that Chicago series, so point guard wouldn't be as big of an issue for me.

I like George Hill but I'd gladly move him if it meant landing someone like Singleton.

Sure is. Not only do they get the better guard but Smith as well. Robbery.

Some of the rumors that come about around draft day are obviously awful.

That's what makes it such a fun time for me though. Smh and lol. Every new rumor makes the work day go by that much faster.

Now ESPN is reporting that SA is trying to trade Parker straight up for the #5 or #7 pick to take Washington State's Klay Thompson.

            Sickening if true.

Wowzers. Has SA made a bad move in the draft in the last decade lol? Kinda hard to doubt them but this will certainly be a helluva gamble if true.

That's funny, especially because based on the pre draft video I saw on him I pegged him as a Manu type. We'll see.

I'm not saying he'll be a bad player, but I just don't think he'll be better than Tony Parker is right now. I see Klay Thompson as a really poor mans Steph Curry. I could be super duper wrong though

I have no real gauge on where his game will be honestly, I've seen about 3 videos, and on the last one I just thought what he was doing reminded me of Manu. I highly doubt he'll be as gifted as Manu, and probably not even TP, but who knows. Draft is such a crap shoot. But I will say that SA's draft record gives them some benefit of the doubt, in my opinion.

I'm honestly starting to think that SA will hold onto Parker and try to put together a package including Hill for that #7 pick. I could be way off, though.

One thing that I'm sure of (and hopefully correct), is that the Spurs front office isn't crazy enough to trade Tony Parker straight up for the 5 or 7 pick.

                          The Spurs aren't stupid.

Not sure if coaching moves go in here too, but Kurt Rambis is getting fired after the draft.

This would never (and The Rock means never!) happen, but just for fun who says no first:

                                LeBron for Dwight
