Skiles also said, regarding acquiring Jackson, Udrih, and Livingston, that the Bucks front office believes their biggest issue offensively was that nobody looked to create for each other (what I had been saying all year from watching them), and that that's why they're so happy to have these three guys. All 3 are willing passers that can also score (not really Livingston, but they also said Livingston is easily the best passer of the three).

On a sidenote, all three guys are on two-year deals, so it allows us to rebuild in a couple of seasons as well.
Jackson will be a solid piece for your team, but I think the Bucks ceiling is the 2nd round. Jackson can create his own shot and wasn't a cancer for us, more of a leader. If he wants to be in Milwaukee, then you have a great 2nd or 3rd option.

Definitely agreed that the 2nd round is our absolute ceiling, but I think that's the beauty of this trade for Milwaukee. We get two years of being a 1st or 2nd round playoff team while Harris, Sanders, and Jennings and whoever else we draft in the next two years develop, and then we get to start from scratch as all 3 of the guys we just acquired will expire.

Edit: And even if we hadn't made this trade, we're still probably a first round playoff team or bottom of the lottery team anyway, so the trade doesn't hurt us as far as draft position goes very much at all, but it gives the young guys a better chance of some early success I think and any time a team like Milwaukee can stay semi-relevant, it's a win.

Regarding Felton/Miller Trade.. I also think Karl really likes him. 2 Very good picks for DEN but I'm confused Can Hamilton play the 2 at all, because with Gallinari and Chandler at the 3 it doesn't seem like a good fit.

I might be missing something though.

Anyone have any info on the Petteri Koponen guy that the Mavericks got the rights to last night? I can't figure out if he would be more of a PG or a SG for them, but it appears that he does want to play in the NBA the Blazers just didn't want him on their team.

From the look of his numbers, he is the exact twin of Nick Calathes, but a slightly better shooter on 2 pointers.

Hamilton can play the 2, same with Chandler.

Alright thanks, that's what I was wondering... Great draft by DEN IMO then.

Yeah, Hamilton can play 2/3. Just such a great haul for Denver, I love the pieces they added including Miller's under the radar addition. Though Ty and Ray played well together in spurts.

Raymond was a great, great player for Denver and he liked it here...
Unfortunately he didn't want to come of the bench...

Edit: since no blazers fan here to bring it up look at the starting 5 they have made them selves

                    pg : Raymond Felton
                    sg : Wessley Matthiews
                    sf : Gerald Wallace
                    pf : Lamarcus Aldridge
                    c : Marcus Camby

                    pretty solid starting line up

That is a nice starting line up. The C position concerns me going forward, but the rest of that is pretty.

The Memphis Grizzlies have extended a qualifying offer to restricted free agent Marc Gasol, giving them the chance to match any offer he might get this offseason. General manager Chris Wallace announced the move Friday. SI.com

No mention on what the offer is however? Would like to see what they came at him with, considering they're going to have a rough time managing all the contracts.
