100% agree. I said this on Monday and I don't know how you don't do this as Miami.
Oddly enough, I dont know if Orlando should. I mean they should, but taking a step back I dont think it brings them any closer to a title.Follow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment

Re: NBA Off-season Movement & FA List (PG 1 Updates)
Orlando is already built as a team designed to have the floor spaced out with 3 point shooters so their star can go to work or kick the ball out for easy looks. LeBron would make a killing. Of course then Orlando would have no serviceable big unless Miami threw in Joel Anthony, which in this situation I don't see why they wouldn't.
Hell, this trade seems like so much fun on both sides that I think I'm going to do a 2K association based off of it.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

No chance would I do this if I was the Sixers.
Lamar Odom and Ron Artest for Iguodala.Comment

Well for starters it's bar none the greatest offer Orlando would ever get for Dwight. And secondly, look at what LeBron has succeeded with in the past. Teams that consisted of Damon Jones, Eric Snow, Daniel Gibson, Larry Hughes, etc, etc.

not dumb for the lakers. they inject youth, defense and scoring in iggy and get rid of unproductive artest and never gonna play up to my potential odom. it'd be dumb for philly though.Comment

Re: NBA Off-season Movement & FA List (PG 1 Updates)
1. Iggy has an awful toxic atrocious hideous disgusting repulsive nauseating contract
2. Iggy can't shoot worth a damn, something the Lakers obviously need and lack
3. LA desperately needs a PG who can hopefully shoot and play some defense, and a SF who can definitely shoot and not be a liability like Ron is on the offensive end. Hint: Iggy is not the guy they should be looking for
Terrible trade that would set Los Angeles back and they won't win another ring with Kobe if they do that trade
Terrifying rumorComment

Re: NBA Off-season Movement & FA List (PG 1 Updates)
You sound like the folks who tried to pull that logic when Orlando traded for Turk and Gilbert
If you really think Iggy is an upgrade over Odom that's fine, but in my eyes that couldn't be any further from the truth.
LA does not need to take on one of the worst contracts in the league for a SF who can't shoot. That's not smart.
They would be a million times better if they stood patComment

Re: NBA Off-season Movement & FA List (PG 1 Updates)
There's no way I see that trade happening with a new salary system on the way. You're telling me the Lakers plan on paying Kobe, Pau and Iggy under a possible $50 million hard cap? Hell no.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: NBA Off-season Movement & FA List (PG 1 Updates)
I would be shocked if there was a $50 million hard cap. So I don't think that is the biggest issue, I think the issue is more that Iguodala is not a shooter and is better with the ball in his hands. The other thing is trading Odom gets rid of their size advantage and a lot of the match up problems the Lakers cause. They would then need to find a quality big, who can spot start for Bynum. A lot of teams are looking for that same thing, so good luck if they do that trade."Ma'am I don't make the rules up. I just think them up and write em down". - Cartman

Re: NBA Off-season Movement & FA List (PG 1 Updates)
Odom wouldn't help Philly one bit. WTF is he gonna help Philly with? They're on a youth movement right now, they need to get rid of Brand and Iggy ASAP and not bring in any more vets with long contracts.
The trade is beyond stupid for both teams.Comment
