Thats why I laughed when I read his post. He will be lucky if he is in the league this season. Why should he be concerned about max contracts or even the MLE....he will never see one.

For every mid level player like Green there is one like Brandon Rush urging them to take a deal.

Is Danny Green the Spurs player rep? He wasn't even on the Spurs roster last year until the last 1/3 of the season.

How do they determine team player reps?

The guy who seems the most rational and less stupid and then go from there. As you can see the system needs fixing.

EDIT: Not really how that works, but it does seem like it at times.

You have to be ****ing ****ing me if this guy is their player rep. I know a ton of NBA players leave college early for the NBA and I don't have a problem with that. However, can't they at least get the guys with college degrees to be the team reps?

edit: oops I see that Matt Bonner is the Spurs player rep. Sorry for the rant

Maybe the big-name players don't want to be bothered. There may be administrative-type work that comes along with the position. I can't see guys like Wade and Kobe filling out paperwork, lol. Just speculation on my part, of course.
