Actually, if you look at a map, Milwaukee is a bit more east than Memphis and New Orleans.

But that's only right now, or has been like that for the last 5 years. Things will eventually balance out, and the power will go to the East for a while.

I mean, when the Celtics won for that decade or so, no one was talking about it then. Or when the Bulls won it for most of the decade, it wasn't an issue. Things will get better.

I think it just such a big deal right now cause the media makes it such a big deal.

Granted the teams in the west are tougher, but still, I don't like how the NBA changes something just because it isn't working. This is one thing they should leave, the east and the west.

Yea, but remember when Chicago was winning everything. It'll eventually balance out.

However, I think once a team makes the playoffs, east and west should have no effect and all 16 teams should be seeded by wins. That way, it's possible for the best team to play the best team.

But if it's laid out like that, then the bottom team has close to no chance what-so-ever against the top team. It's a bigger gap in talent between 1 and 16 than 1 and 8.

This is how I think the new divisions will look. I think this format would be the best fit from a geographical standpoint.

                        Eastern Conference
                        Atlantic Division
                        Boston
                        New Jersey
                        New York
                        Philadelphia
                        Toronto

                        Central Division
                        Chicago
                        Cleveland
                        Detroit
                        Indiana
                        Milwaukee

Yea, but remember when Chicago was winning everything. It'll eventually balance out.

However, I think once a team makes the playoffs, east and west should have no effect and all 16 teams should be seeded by wins. That way, it's possible for the best team to play the best team.

But if it's laid out like that, then the bottom team has close to no chance what-so-ever against the top team. It's a bigger gap in talent between 1 and 16 than 1 and 8.

That's right and that's a good thing.....may the best team win
