WoW...if thats how its gonna look I'd hate to be a team in the midwest. SAS, Houston, NO, Dallas, aand an up and coming memphis makes for a great division. Minny has it too easy in the Mountain Div. or whatever they call it.

Why do people make judgements about division alignment based on how teame are right now? Come on now, things will change over the years. Could you immagine if they moved teams all over the place based on their strength every year? It would be a mess for cryin out loud. 6 years ago nobody figured the Kings and Mavs would be powers, and look at them now. Utah and Portland were in the playoffs every year for the past decade, and it will take a miracle to get them there this year. Things change, leagues change.

Isn't Minnesota arguing with the league so they can move east?

You got me all wrong. I dont want to change it, i just think that its going to be a really competitive divison next year if thats how it turns out. Again with Minny breezing past this year. Thats all I was talking baout..this year. I dont doubt even for a second that the strength of these teams will change drastically in 6 years.

You got me all wrong. I dont want to change it, i just think that its going to be a really competitive divison next year if thats how it turns out. Again with Minny breezing past this year. Thats all I was talking baout..this year. I dont doubt even for a second that the strength of these teams will change drastically in 6 years.

Minnesota and Memphis both made requests to switch to the Eastern Conference. But the problem is what two teams could they switch with? New Orleans isn't too thrilled about being moved to the Western Conference.
