Memphis is on the East coast?? I wonder why I can't find the beach around here?

That's the way it will look.

This is the way I've said in past post it should look:

            NATIONAL CONFERENCE
WEST: LA Lakers, Phoenix, Portland, Denver, Golden State
CENTRAL: Chicago, Milwaukee, Minnesota, Memphis, New Orleans
EAST: Philadelphia, New Jersey, Washington, Atlanta, Miami

            AMERICAN CONFERENCE
WEST: San Antonio, LA Clippers, Seattle, Sacramento, Utah
CENTRAL: Dallas, Houston, Cleveland, Detroit, Indiana
EAST: Boston, NY Knicks, Toronto, Orlando, Charlotte

I agree with Fetter21, unless they are going to throw out the Conference Configurations in the Playoffs and have a Free For-All with all of the playoff teams seeded.

The one thing I disagree with ADW is about the Moutain Conference name. They'll probably call it the Northwest, as that fits better with the geographic profile. Also, maybe they'll change the midwest to the Southwest.

Trey that would be great but instead of just mixing the teams up they should put ABA teams in the American Conference and NBA teams in the National Conference.

Looks good, but I would have Portland and Phoenix swap divisions.

I like this as well. As a Hornets fan, I can see some rivalries started with all of these teams due to the closeness of the cities. Hornets fans could travel very easily to Dallas or San Antonio, or Houston, or Memphis. Or vice versa. The other dvisions seem to be set up that way as well. Very good plan.

I love Hornets being in the west. I'm from Louisiana, so I get all the Hornets home games, but I don't like the Hornets. How ever, when they come out west, they'll have to play the Lakers a couple of times more laker games for me.
