Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)

I don't think Rondo is their best player, especially the guy still can't shoot a jumper consistently to save his life

That said, its Ainge's fault mostly anyway. Everytime they had depth he traded it all away or got rid of it 2nd to none to the guy who owns the suns (name escapes me at the moment)

That pretty much kept those 3 main guys playing far too many heavy minutes and accelerated the end of their careers

...and as far as WB is concerned, I'd seriously think about trading a guy like him for Deron... honestly, Deron can be consistent, still beat opposing PG's off the dribble and he'd set his teammates up well

I would without question trade WB for D-Will.

Thing is, why the hell would you do that if you're NJ unless you know for sure that D-Will isn't coming back?

Because you've got Westbrook for 5 more years.

So wait Brook Lopez and Westbrook as the main cogs in BK? Not sure if want. Though throw in Ibaka or Harden, more Harden than ibaka then MAYBE, i'd take that deal. Still don't like the thought of Bad Russ as the main man.

Straight up swap though? No f'n way.
              HELLO BROOKYLN.

If the Russian trades DWill...he should be shot.

I'm pretty sure if anyone is going to be shot involving the Russian it's going to be those who oppose him and not him.

If they sign Westbrook to that kind of money it pretty much makes sure Harden and Ibaka will walk. There will be teams willing to throw a big enough contract at Harden and Ibaka that OKC won't be able to match. Plus that would lock up most of the cap for two wing guys. That really isn't a recipe for titles.

When did he sign a new deal? If D-Will is not going to stay in Brooklyn cause of them 'not making moves to win' why the hell would Westbrook sign a new deal to go there?

LOL @ letting Westbrook just walk away. Come on now be real ya'll...think about that for a second.

I still think he's gotten hit too hard in terms of criticism ever since the playoffs but whatever.

Trade Deron for Westbrook? Feel like I'm on NetsDaily reading that on here ughhhhhh

Who said let WB walk away... thats crazy

In terms of value though, WB could possibly net you a Deron, but at the same time... there is no guarantee Deron is staying in NJ right now

It was a thought not an actual trade proposal
