I'm confused...so the only reason the NBA can veto this is because the league owns the Hornets? or can they do this with all trades?
Because if they can do this with all trades then why didn't they veto Lebron and/or Bosh's sign and trade to Miami which they all hate so much?

          From ya'll man:

This is crazy: Hearing the NBA (owner of New Orleans) vetoed the CP3 trade because it wasn’t in the best interests in the league.

Seriously what a cluster****. I'm happy with my Lakers either way but this is mind boggling.

                    What an odd sports day.

I feel like a Vietnam vet having flashbacks in regards to Broussard and his horrific reporting, just like last summer. So bad, dude is NEVER on point.

The only reason the deal is off is because Stern isn't happy the Lakers didn't get Dwight too.

Just after midnight we'll hear ******* Broussard: "Sources say Lakers, Hornets, Rockets, and Magic agree to blockbuster 4 team trade that sends Dwight Howard and Chris Paul to Los Angeles"

Hilarious and so true. My question for you guys that are good at speculating and breaking all these things down numbers wise is this...

What exactly happens now? I know it is a business and players try to learn not to take things personally but c'mon.

Gasol and Odom aren't going to be thrilled to go right back to a Lakers team that just traded them. Does some other deal go through or does this still end up happening one way or the other?

Explain it to me please you NBA breakdown wizards.

                                Feel the same way.

Don't think the Players will like this. I wonder what Lebron will tweet? lol
