Via Bob Ryan The Celtics are trying to trade up for Harrison Barnes.

I can't imagine what the Package would be though.

Who are they trying to trade up with? This definitely throws a wrench into the Cavs draft but that could mean MKG or Beal would fall if the Celts trade up with a team ahead of the Cavs. Fingers crossed MKG or Beal falls. If not I guess we go Drummond.

No Idea, It's in the early stages. But to go from 21-22 to 2-4 Is a Huge leap. They have to throw in a player for it to become a real possibility.

I would assume both their firsts, maybe Moore as well. They only have Bradley/Pierce/Rondo/JJohnson/Moore on the payroll to trade as players. Maybe a future pick as well?

As I said before, I like Robinson/Beal/Barnes for the Wizards at #3, so I wonder how high the Celtics think they could move?

            PipeDream

If the Celtics decide to go full rebuild, I'm sure the Wizards would trade them the 3rd pick for even 1 of their 1sts if they swap Pierce for Lewis 23mil Expiring.

            Pierce + 21st + Moore/Cash
            for
            Lewis + 4th + 32nd

I don't think they'd do that to Pierce but its not a horrible start to your rebuild

            Rondo
            Bradley
            Barnes/
            Bass?/Green?
            Stiemsma?

I don't think trading for a 34 year old is the way to rebuild. If they so desperately wanted to get rid of Lewis they could just amnesty him.

He was saying it'd be a good way for the CELTICS to rebuild. But I agree with you, don't know why the Wizards would do it.

I hope not. I hear they are high on him but anything is possible.

                      That would be awful.

How do you feel about Bradley? Definitely an elite defender, but still needs to work on his shooting stroke a good amount doesn't he? Seems like it would be tough to put him and Rondo on the floor at the same time and still have good spacing.

Robinson is more of a beat you off the dribble power forward. Brand played the game "at the rim" and Robinson is very athletic. If I had to set Thomas ceiling I would say Charles Barkley. A physically imposing, undersized 4, with good quickness and explosive leapers.

I meant production wise. Their college stats are nearly identical 17, 11, similar percentages etc. Style wise I was saying more Abdur Rahim... But if he turns into Charles Barkley I'd be more than happy with that!

Not sure if you were watching the early part of Boston's playoffs...but Bradley was money from the corner 3. And yes...he played a good part of the season at the same time as Rondo. He got starts because Ray Allen was hurt.

Bradley can easily hop into that second-tier kind of player next year. He's an incredible perimeter defender despite his size.

If he can get that midrange, in-between game down pat...forget about it.

You don't trade him. And quite frankly...if they're dangling Rondo again...that's a slap in the face for what he has done for them.

I stand corrected regarding the 3 point shooting. He shot over 40% this season, although he seems hesitant to actually shoot them at least based on the statistics. And no, I haven't seen too much of him.

Before the shoulder issues. Dude was money from both Corners. Also before the Playoffs, small sample size but He was averaging close to 15 PPG while shooting 50%. Also one of his underrated qualities is his cutting ability. One of the best Cutters Boston Had. And That helps Rondo tremendously on the fast break.

So as you can tell, I like him alot.
