Has anyone heard anything about Josh Smith? I really think he needs to leave ATL. I know it's his hometown team and all but from the outside looking in he doesn't want to be there anymore.

Did Dennis Green and the Cardinals really "let them off the hook"? What about the children? Find out next week -
Re: Chris Broussards Sources tell me Trade Rumors and Discussion Thread
Well when you start looking at the roster for this year the only piece you're really losing is Carter. Carter would be tough to replace as he is far and away the best player coming off the bench. Gasol would obviously be a huge upgrade from Kaman and Beaubois and Wright are out of the lineup in Dallas right now and especially Beaubois seems to be going nowhere with the Mavs.
Getting Gasol obviously hurts financial flexibility, but every day it looks more and more like neither Howard nor CP3 will end up in Dallas next year.
I honestly woudn't see a team with Dirk and Gasol at the same time.Comment

He's not going to trade Dirk man, and Dirk's not really the problem.
Honestly, he can do what San Antonio has done with Duncan or he can just blow it all up... go after guys or build through the draft.
This is my issue with teams who either wait too long to transition or hold on to coaches for too long and the team they put together pretty much collapses by the time they realize its too late.
OJ is not the guy you want to build around or even your #2 option with Dirk to be honest with you. Cubes turned the organization around before, I'm just not sure if he has the patience and energy for it anymore.
My biggest fear is Dirk retires after a few more years of decent teams, Cuban sells the team to someone with a bunch of cash but not nearly the interest in basketball Cuban does and the Mavs fall into some of the problems teams like Houston, Milwaukee, Atlanta and Phoenix have had the past few years, teams that are just meh.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
NBA: Dallas Mavericks
MLB: Texas Rangers
NHL: Dallas Stars
NCAA: Alabama Crimson Tide

Eh, that's hard to tell. Pau would definitely play in the post and hopefully Carlisle could keep him down there, offensively that would be a scary lineup, but you're right they probably couldn't play down the stretch because Gasol and Dirk aren't good defenders.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Oh I agree with this and I never claimed that Dirk was the problem. And the Mavs problem is the toed the line last year between rebuilding and making a title push by not resigning the championship team and this year they're finally making a youth push but its just too late and its too awkward of a group of guy for this team and its definitely not a team for the future.

Even if he sells there is not too many owners that carry their teams to heart than Cuban. I don't believe he'd sell to some goons.Comment

Where could J.J. Reddick contribute?
Could he be the third option on a Playoff Bound team?
Or the Sixth Man with green light to shoot whenever?
Houston - Lin, Harden, Reddick?
Utah - Tinsely/Mo Williams/Earl Watson, Reddick and Heywood at the 3 spot?Comment

Re: Chris Broussards Sources tell me Trade Rumors and Discussion Thread
Didn't he just re-up with Orlando this past offseason?
Doubt they'd be ready to move him this early since he's one of the few vets(that's playing)on the team.#RespectTheCultureComment

JJ? No, you're thinking about Jamer. JJ is on the last year of that deal he signed a few years ago that Orlando matched the Bulls on.Comment
