Im not convinced that Paul George is going to become an elite scorer down the line. He's good and still can get even better, but he doesnt show Durant level natural scoring capabilities.

Your saying that this current team(improving) is enough to win the chip. I cant say that.

Is Hibbert going to shake his issues and get 15+ on consistent basis.
Without Granger they are going to either upgrade the PG or replace Granger w/ another 20pg....and at what position? West has the PF locked up.

I'd prefer a full season w/ Granger/George mix to make a clear assessment if he is worth dumping.

The team that scared Miami was better than this current line up IMO.
4 options (West & Hibbert w/ Danny & George) > West/George/Hibbert.

Where did I say this current team is enough to win a championship????? I'm pretty sure no where in my post did I say this team as assembled can win a championship right now.

Also, while we like to think West has the Power Forward position locked up, the thing is he is a free agent after this season and while I hope the Pacers resign West and I expect the Pacers too, you never know if some team will offer up some ridiculous amount/years for David West like Portland did to Hibbert.

You say you would like to see a full season of George and Granger playing together before deciding to dump Granger or not, but the Pacers really don't have that luxury as after next season Granger is a free agent so, if the Pacers take the wait and see approach with Granger and George then the only options with Granger is either to re-sign him or let him walk for nothing.

I think the Pacers best move is to have Granger come back this season and prove he is healthy and then in the offseason try and use his value as a player AND an expiring contract to try get a upgrade at point guard. That way Hill can move back to shooting guard and fill in at as a back up point when needed. Or if the Pacers get priced out of resigning West using Granger to find a replace at Power Forward.

I think in the offseason looking to move Granger would be a good move for the Pacers.

Prediction: Celtics will trade for one of Toronto point guards ( Lowry or Calderon).

Honestly I don't know why even fight for the 8th or 7th spot well just get stomped on against the Knicks Heat or Bulls. We need to get value back for KG and PP before they retire soon.

Yeah, they're done. Don't be a hypocrite on this one 13. You've been saying the Bulls season is done all year because of Derrick's injury and they need to blow up the team and tank for draft picks instead of wasting time kidding themselves with being competitive and losing in the first or second round of the playoffs anyway. Don't see how you can flip now with the C's. They aren't winning a championship without Rondo and after seeing how they've played throughout the season with a fully healthy Rondo, I don't see how they're going to lose him, get another point guard and be better.

Paul Pierce is retiring as a Celtic. He's not getting traded. Anyone who thinks so is severely underestimating the impact Paul Pierce has had on that franchise. Him getting traded isn't happening.

Garnett MIGHT be traded. I could see him getting traded back to Minnesota for a young big like Derrick Williams and a 2nd or maybe even Pekovic (though I doubt that).
