Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
Should've traded Pau back when Stern vetoed CP3 trade for "basketball reasons." Every since then he's been out of touch with the game. He's blamed everyone but himself these past couple of seasons. I really don't see what we could get for him in return. Best to tough it out let him hit FA IMHO.Comment

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
honestly, i dont think pau has alot of value...i for one do not want him on my teams i like...i think he is a locker room issue with the way he acts/blames everyone but himself....hes also not producing what he should be for his size/skillset.
if i was them id trade him for a reasonably good PG or centerComment

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
Who knows? there are some pretty dumb teams in this league. Maybe we should market him to the knicks and see if we can get some of our picks back. What do you think they'll give up, about 3? 4? lol. one for each rebound he has lol. on a serious note, im so done with pau. If bynum wasn't by far the laziest player ever drafted in the history of pro sports, I'd almost say we shoulda kept him over pau smh.Lakers

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
I'm listening to the Bill Simmons podcast while I fall asleep and he's talking to a Lakers insider. Bill threw out a trade he had been tossing around in his head of Gasol and Steve Blake (aka two expiring contracts/a tryout for Gasol) for Deng and Boozer. The Lakers insider said she thought it made a lot of sense for both sides and went on to say she actually thinks those two teams are discussing that exact trade right now and Bill is like "Wait, seriously? I just made that up on the spot". LolNFL: Bills

gasol and blake for deng and boozer? makes no sense.
blakes out for 6+ weeks....pau and boozer are the same freaking player (horribly overpaid to un-perform for their talent...altho boozer is better than pau atm)
and deng/bulls said they want to work out a longterm deal...Comment

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
I read they're talking about a Shump/Chandler trade to the lakers.
Los Angeles Lakers superstar shooting guard Kobe Bryant just returned to action, but that hasn't stopped the team from inquiring about other backcourt players.
I guess it has no chance of happening. Is Chandler even playing theses days?Last edited by Vni; 12-15-2013, 12:09 PM.Comment

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
It was a Lakers insider talking, but she thinks Deng is gone after the year anyways, so Chicago might want to pair him with Boozer to get rid of that extra year of Boozer's contract. Gasol's is just as bad, but it's up after this year, and then he's either gone or he can resign at a cheaper rate if he turns it around. But the point is that Chicago would be freeing up cap space because Blake and Gasol are both expiring and they'd be able to start the rebuilding process, because the Lakers chick and another insider they had on agreed that they think Thibs is gone after this year as well.NFL: Bills
