    Re: 2014 Draft Class

Julius Randle isn't impressing me too much with his high turnover rate. I just think it's a matter of MSU's team defense being so cohesive while Kentucky's obviously still working the kinks out.

Good to see Randle still staying aggressive though

I never ever saw the appeal of the Harrison twins. I still don't after tonight

He did it a lot in high school but thats usually after him putting up 29/8/4. What i think people are getting mixed up with is how he easy he plays. He's almost got that TMac quality where it looks like he isnt trying but is destroying your team.

He was doing fine when he had opportunities to work (IE the lane not being completely congested) but he's also being defended really well.

Not liking how Kentucky runs its offense though. They set screens half-heartedly and just aimlessly run all over the floor causing spacing problems. Kinda ugly to watch.

Kentucky's half court sets have never been too pleasing to watch to me.

But like I said, Randle has stayed aggressive all night despite turning the ball over more times than MSU's entire team combined. I love to see that in a prospect of his caliber. He's now put up a nice statline outside of the turnovers. His defense has been decent too.

Randle has a lot of ZBO in him. Love to see that emotion and grindhouse style of play from him. Also seems to have a decent shooting touch and decent soft hands. This is the guy I was expecting to see in this second half. 15 points, 5-5 in the second half after going 1-5 in the first half.

The Hell is wrong with the Harrison twins? What kind of layup was that ?

But yeah, you see Randle FT form? It is way too hurried. It's like he needs to chill out once he gets there

I have no idea, but the twins don't intrigue me too much as pros. The entire Kentucky team is sort of reckless with the basketball hahaha. Randle is way too hyped right now, yeah at the line he just threw it up there lol. He has some pretty decent hands though and gets good post position.

Randle has that outward I will kill you type mentality that I was referring to earlier in the thread.

Kind of a stronger version of ZBo. I like him alot. But would you draft ZBo with the number one pick?

ZBO without the mental and offcourt issues? Absolutely. But actually I wouldn't say Randle is stronger just yet. ZBO got his nickname for literally being a bull and hefty. Randle still will grow and fill out. I think Randle is swifter with his moves though.

Agree.... But as of right now I'm sticking with ZBo. Everything to even the defense played tonight were ZBo like.

                        Re: 2014 Draft Class

Freshman bigs and freshman PG's always turn it over a lot. He just has to learn to protect the ball and keep it closer to his body, I'm guessing he'll pick that up very quickly.

He was trying too hard not to force it in the first half and then got aggressive in the second half and he was unstoppable. For a first appearance against a physical, tough team in MSU that was a supremely impressive performance from Randle IMO.

Andrew Harrison as a Top 10 pick though, yikes. Let's wait and see on that...

Going to be interesting to see just how good Selden is. I expect him to have a better game than Wiggins.

I always thought he was the number #1 SG instead of Harrison.

I know the isn't even at halftime yet. But guys... I'm sold on Mr. Parkers. Anyone agree?

You know we can't help it though hahaha. Parker is impressing, as is Selden.

I've seen 3 games and I can say Julius is NBA ready, is he perfect no, but could he make an impact if he hypothetically came out of hs straight to the league. Yes I believe it so.
