Parker is legit. Wiggins is on the bench because of foul trouble. Selden is looking good, especially his post entry passes. You just don't see that part of the game that developed in a guard at the college level. Especially from a Freshman.

Not as good as a dribbler as I first thought though. Got the Marcus Smart syndrome going on right now.

Also, Parker is much better on defense than I first thought as well. He's just impressing at every facet of the game right now. Is there nothing he can do?

Selden one of the better guards, maybe the best guard that's come out of Kansas in a while.

Parker's vison though. Can you say versatile.

I know man. But you can see the little things Parker is doing. Seems like Wiggins is in cruise control again. This is a huge game on TV. If that's not enough to show out. Then what is?

Edit: Perry Ellis is quietly doing his thing.

Your right... But I'm going to say. Wiggins hasn't done much for me yet. Most of his points have been off dishes.

He's put up his points quietly, but he has had an impact.

9/15 22 pts. 9 reb's. Parker had the spotlight, but Wiggins stole it at the at the end and closed it down.

Edit: you said that before he shut it down, I was feeling the same way.

Wiggins needs to spend a lot of his time at the gym. Dude is really frail.

So does Parker but I love his skill-set (Parker's). He looked more athletic than what I thought. When he gets his body right he will be a problem. He has that feel for the game at a young age that reminded me of a Grant Hill when he was a freshman. Even though Grant was surrounded and overshadowed by veteran players you could just tell he was going to be special.

Wasn't really impressed by the Harrison twins BUT Coach Cal will have them much improved by the end of the year.

Dukie V kept hyping up Joel Embiid for Kansas. He is the perfect kind of player to get a GM fired because he's no way near being ready for the NBA. I think I heard someone say Chad Ford has him projected ~#3. No offensive game outside of put-backs.

Wiggins will be fine. He put up a quiet 22 points in limited action vs a Dook team with several NBA players. He kind of let the game come-to-him and has the kind of frame/athleticism to be a good defender too (these college rules should help perimeter defenders out when it comes to the pros). Self's a good coach and pretty guard friendly. If he improves on that jumper and makes defenders have to get closer it's a wrap because his first step is lethal. He showed me in one game that he has more closer in him than McLemore last year.

But as of right now. I would say Parker is ahead of Wiggins in a few departments. Parker is like a Paul Peirce/Carmelo player. He's got some nice handles and just always seems to make the right play with the ball in his hands.

Got to respect Wiiggins game though. Needs a little work around the edges. You can some times tell he just started playing basketball. We got tons of season left!!

Parker seems like he's been playing for a while.

Parker seems quite seasoned and refined with his skill set. Very smooth and composed, even though he forced shots, I like his confidence. I don't quite see Grant Hill, more so a Paul Pierce. This is in terms of how I see him in the NBA. Grant had elite athleticism even compared to NBA players, I don't think Parker's will translate to that degree. However he does have that PP type game where he'll have his moments like the alley oop last night.

Wiggins really doesn't look like he'll be a LeBron or Kobe. Maybe that's stating the obvious, but I wish the media and fans wouldn't be so quick to set the expectations for these young guys. Because Wiggins will no doubt end up a good player in the league, but when you expect him to be LeBron or Kobe your'e going to be disappointed. I haven't and still didn't see anything to suggest he'll be a generational type franchise player.

That's what I was saying Ex... Wiggins seems he needs another year or 2 of seasoning. In my opinion, He only really had about 2-3 halfcourt set plays that standout for me. He did isolate that one time for a nice step back jumper. But most of his stuff was in transition. Can't beat him up for leaking out and getting dunks.

Parker just seems to have everything. Watching him make that steal at one end and then going coast to coast between 3 defenders for a fancy layup in traffic was beautiful. That one play alone shows so much of his overall game. The one other thing people didn't see was Parker's post-up game.

I think Parker will be a stretch 4 in the league once he puts more weight on his frame. He's more of a complete player at this point than Pierce was at KU. I was impressed with his rebounding and post defense (would have been better if Dook pressured the passer when Parker fronted the KU bigs).

I also liked Seldon from KU. He was aggressive and always seemed to be around the ball.

I'm going to give Wiggins some time. 22 points in limited action where he sat for lengthy periods was good enough for me in big game debut.

You know I guess the foul situation did help limit him. But I don't agree with you and saying that Parker will be a stretch 4. That's probably never going to happen. He has too much skill. I think Parker is about the same weight Carmelo was in college (maybe slightly bigger). He just needs to get his body fat in other. And he'll be pretty good.

But one guy I forgot to post this morning was this beastly kid down low.

The other guy who had a very nice game but was super quiet was Perry Ellis.

But I believe the Harrison twins will get another chance. Last night I think they were caught in the headlights.

I would actually be quite surprised if he was a 4 in the nba. His game is premised very much so on being a wing creator and scorer. I don't think he'll be able to defend 4's. He's pretty much in the mold of granger, pp, melo etc
