Zach Lavine is 5th on nbadraft.nets mock draft, I don't see what everyone else sees in him. He rarely attacks the ring in the half court and can't create his own shot. At the moment he is just an athletic 3 point shooter. Kinda like Jeremy Lamb but without the ability to get open off ball.

Re: 2014 Draft Class
I think Anthony Davis has the most potential of anyone drafted in the last 5 years personally, and he was living up to it before the injury.
Right now if I had a "mock" top 5 it would probably go like
1. Parker
2. Randle
3. Wiggins
4. Embiid
5. Exum
If Embiid keeps playing well, I think he'll be at worst #2-3 in this class, because his "potential" is higher than both Parker and Randle's.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: 2014 Draft Class
It's tough to make a mock draft because some of these guys, in my opinion, really depend on team need. I could see a reason to take like 5 or 6 of these guys ahead of the others depending on team need..Comment

Re: 2014 Draft Class
It's one thing to have a "big board", but mock drafts this early are worthless.
For all we know a guy that is a fringe first rounder will light it up in March and become a top 10 pick. So much time left to have things happen.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: 2014 Draft Class
He is the best perimeter defender in this class and it isn't even close. He has a ways to go offensively but he will be a good/great defender in the NBA at the very least.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: 2014 Draft Class
If a had to make a big board for right now it would be
1) Parker
2) Randle
3) Embiid
4) Wiggins
5) Smart
6) Exum
I think if these guys declare, the top 6 will be these guys but in a different order. I feel like these guys have separated themselves so far.Comment

Re: 2014 Draft Class
how can you say it isnt even close?? marcus smart is an EXCELENT defender, at either the 1/2 and possibly can guard some 3's.
branden dawson and alex poythress are also very very good defendersComment
