Unfortunately have to add Exum to the list, seems to be pretty high-risk. It's definitely worth the risk though if he can become a star.

If Embiid is healthy he will the best player in this draft hands down he has skills that you can't teach.

I would say I wish a team in the NBA would give this young man a job or even better yet the NBA connects him to their awareness program and allows him to be a major spokesperson. Offer him free game attendance with a guest for life and just help the dude be apart of the league for as long as he wants.

No he doesn't. He is an above average shot blocker but not elite there. People drooled over his per 40 numbers yet looked over his ridiculously high foul numbers which was part of the reason he didn't play more minutes. He should have dominated competition is he was as good as some think. He did nothing of the sort.

I'd say there is a bust chance with Vonleh and Hairston. Both are to some degree boom or bust guys.

This kid only started playing basketball 4 years ago what did you expect him to put up Shaq numbers in college? He has all the tools to become a great player the only thing that can stop him is injuries. If you don't think he has the potential to be a great big man i don't know what to tell you there's a reason he was considered a consensus number pick before the foot injury.

I'd say Vonleh is extremely young and that's as far as I'll go. He has great size and insanely large hands. Dude may age a bit and become an absolute beat.

I just don't see bust written in his future, we'll see.

I don't think Gordon was a bad pick. There's so many question marks in this draft as it stands that it's really hard to predict bust guys ours is of a few res flags in my mind for specific reasons (Exum, Staukus, Embiid etc.)

You said if he's healthy he's going to be the best player in this class no doubt. He can stay healthy and just not develop and a bunch of other players could still be better.
He's just not the surefire star people think he'll be.

What are we using as the determination factor for a "bust". What is the definition...

By my criteria, I would say Exum has a high potential to be a bust. Meaning a guy who is being hyped to be one thing and then turning out to be a complete let down. I don't necessarily use draft position as a determining factor

i would, and could argue hes the best player in the draft, he just happens to not be a freak athlete thats 19 years old to be a #1 pick
I really hope you aren't serious with this.

My biggest gripe with Exum is guy did not play do a year and watched his stock rise. I mean I think he's a good player but tape on him is so limited that it's hard to get a read on him. I'd love more than nothing to see him succeed but I have my doubts on a guy I'm seeing tape on that is a year or so old.

None of his weaknesses were really able to be seen so of course all his strength and "upside" has been regurgitated ad nauseam.
