My guess is, we are bout to see a lot more "Charlotte" fans now. So great to have them back though, I have always LOVED the color scheme.

I'm sure they did too, Charlotte is a big city and is a major financial center. I'm saying we are going to see Charlotte fans pop up a lot more, kinda like what happened with the Heat...

If you're gonna be a new fan of a team that's fine, but just be loyal when they stink too.

It definitely won't be like what happened with the Heat. There won't be a bunch of dudes in Chicago, Miami, LA or New York suddenly popping off about being Hornets fans. Not unless Carmelo signs there in the offseason or something. Ticket sales in Charlotte may increase a ton and if they're making gear like what was coming out in the 90's again, that may start popping up in other cities again, but it won't be the "fans" popping out of the woodwork like what happens with teams like the Heat, Lakers, Jordan Bulls, Knicks, Celtics and Clippers.

Yeah probably not, I hate that. I'm really glad they are back though, I also like the direction this team is going.

I'm interested to see if they do anything "noteworthy" in the offseason

I always loved those Hornets teams back in the day. I remember buying a hooded jacket from foot locker back then lol.

The colors, the name, the logo, the players.

                    Zo, Johnson, Bogues, etc.

Those were fun teams and easy to root for, I'm glad they're back and I'll be rooting for them again. Unless they're playing the Lakers of course.

                      Exactly, Bolt

I'll even add to that, they lost alot of fans with the way Shinn handled the team and im sure they'll be happy to show support for the team since its doing right by the city now.

Shinn and Johnson were two of the worst to happen to this team, and it has nothing to do with bad times and good times. That city got screwed over really bad and you saw the support dropping before they even left because of how things were handled.

Besides nostalgic purposes, that team always had a fun factor around them, from the mascot to the jersey. I wish they'd bring back the beehive court but with the NBA going all plain now I doubt they will.

People really loved the Hornets man, the Hive was absolutely crazy back in the day...not even Jordan was safe, lol

Glad they are back. It's really creating a buzz (no pun intended) around the city.

I don't know if a name change has ever meant more to one team then it has here.

Just remember who the real Charlotte fans were.

What a ****ing joke if Memphis fires Joerger after firing Hollins last year. Both guys did a pretty good job.

I think Joerger did a fantastic job considering how they started the season and having Gasol out for half the year.
