Ehh, I think to a degree, that is just smoke being blown by these guys because it's fresh.

I still think if the money is there, and more importantly the core remains in tact, that is an attractive destination for basketball players right now, not just PP.

But I agree, almost certain he'll be in a Nets jersey next year.

Are you speaking from the player, or team perspective?

Because getting a ton of value out of a player who is underpaid, is a great contract for the team, ala Chandler Parsons.

And Deron Williams is not terrible, by any stretch of the imagination.

Oh I agree with you regarding LA. That's always going to be an attractive destination along with NY, Miami, Phoenix, Dallas and Chicago.

As we've seen in this league, those are the select few cities in that regardless of what those teams do in their respective seasons, they'll still get serious consideration from FAs.

Obviously from a player's perspective. I went that route because the root of the discussion was about Deron Williams and players of his ilk.

I think Brooklyn would win that deal, based on the fact that Jennings is signed for a fewer years and is a younger PG. Although it's probably easier to fit Dwill and Plumlee into the Pistons lineup than Jennings and Smith into the Nets'. Blockbuster deals are fun, I'd like to see what would happen if it went down.

IF we cant re-sign Ariza back, I wouldn't mind the Wizards trying to get Jeff Green..don't know what we could give up for him, but I wouldn't mind.

Also, want a backup shooting guard that can shoot the rock

Otto Porter for Green, or just start and develop Porter themselves..

                Webster doesn't offer that?

If you have to ask then you probably know the answer.

This is the first time I've seen that mentioned anywhere.

I look at Webster more of a SF..I want a knock down shooter or a person that can create..Wouldn't mind JJ Reddick coming of the bench to replace Beal..Also, wouldn't mind if we can develope Glen Rice Jr. I like his game also..if he can come in a play like he did in the D Leauge, we really wouldn't have to get anybody.

                      Hope we re-sign Gooden

Brooklyn gets destroyed in that trade.

They get younger, but they somehow get more expensive and less talent. Those two contracts have to rank in the top 5 in worst contracts in basketball today.

Sounds like the K Love stuff is starting to heat up again. Says he's willing to go to LA, New York, Chicago, or Golden State. I gotta imagine Golden State is the most realistic if it's a trade.

Pumping up the Bucks fan base.

                            From the new owners:

Dear Citizens of Greater Milwaukee and Milwaukee Bucks Fans Worldwide:
As I'm sure you have heard, this week we completed our purchase of the Bucks from Senator Herbert Kohl. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the gracious welcome and support that has been extended to us since we began this process. It is an honor and a privilege to be a part of this incredible team, as well as a member of the National Basketball Association.

Owning an NBA team with a storied history and loyal, passionate fan base has been a lifelong dream for both of us. We are proud and honored to make that dream a reality right here in Milwaukee; however, we know that with this great honor comes a responsibility to Bucks fans and this community.

This marks the beginning of a long-lasting partnership with the City of Milwaukee, surrounding communities and the State of Wisconsin. Both ourselves and Senator Kohl have pledged substantial personal resources and will work alongside the community to develop a new state-of-the-art venue in Milwaukee that will benefit not just the Bucks, but the region as well. We will become deeply involved in the community, and it is our hope that you and others will soon come to regard us as two of your own. And, of course, we are eager to have you come cheer alongside us at Bucks games once the season begins.

Our desire to succeed is enormous. We are prepared to do all that we can to field a consistently competitive Bucks team for years to come, beginning with selecting a top pick in next month’s NBA Draft. This is the start of a new era in Bucks history. We look forward to working with all of you to deliver an NBA Championship to Milwaukee.
