Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Gotcha. I just figured it's been a solid offseason so far for the Hornets, granted going after Hayward knowing they'd match didn't make sense. Then again there's always a chance they won't, and even if they do you still have lots of options. I would say Deng would be perfect for you guys, but his age and injury history doesn't make sense for you guys.
I like McRoberts and I'm glad to know he was that big a piece for you guys after watching him be nothing of the sorts with LA, I just feel you may be pleasantly once the dust settles. He definitely is more replaceable than trying to find a star talent.
BTW, would you take the chance on Lance considering 2 guard seems to be the biggest need? The Buzz is Back in the Queen City. Cho........I have no idea what you are going to do in this draft man.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
That being said, I'd be surprised if our front office actually went after him. We seem content to roll with Gerald Henderson (). At this point, unless we pull off a big trade or find a way to get Lance I fear we are going to go into next season worse than we were last season.

I can't wait to read the narratives all these "writers" will weave from now until October.

I just want this guy to hurry up and make a decision. This is simply irritating. Stay in Miami or go to Cleveland. Hurry up and hurt someones feelings. The Buzz is Back in the Queen City. Cho........I have no idea what you are going to do in this draft man.Comment

This is officially worse than 2010. This stuff has gotten out of hand.

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
The only thing that sucks about this is everyone reporting literally every single bit of news about it, even if it makes zero sense. Like the stuff king posted from Darren Rovell and what YTG posted and people drawing any kind of conclusion they can about it.
But keep taking your time Bron. If people want to get pissed or annoyed that you haven't decided yet, that's on them.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
The problem with the "if they wanna be mad at you that's on them" logic Pack, is that this crap is holding up the market because the second tier guys are sitting back waiting on these guys too. They know that teams that miss out on those top guys are going to have money to blow, so they're not going to make any deals before those guys get out of the way because they're trying to get paid. Even if a team wants to say "**** it" and move on, they can't because the guys in the next tiers of free agents are waiting for this **** to finish too.Comment

The Philadelphia 76ers are having second thoughts about trading for Houston Rockets guard Jeremy Lin because of his expensive contract, according to a report by CSNPhilly.com's Dei Lynam.

If teams want to move on, they can as we've already seen so I don't buy that excuse. Nobody is stopping these teams from improving themselves.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Again, if they want to move on, they can. But the top two tiers of free agents are in a holding pattern until LeBron and Melo make up their minds. Granger, McBob, James Johnson, Vasquez, etc. these aren't game changing free agents man come on lol.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Lol who said they were? Hell, I don't even consider you guys you mentioned to be 2nd tier. I'd consider some like Chandler Parsons a 2nd tier and he just signed a deal with Dallas but this is all beside the point.
But the notion that teams/FAs are waiting for Lebron to sign first before they make moves...I'm not buying that BS at all when the evidence suggests otherwise. Because once he signs, it ain't the next crop of FAs are anything special or will be getting big bucks either.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
What do you mean you aren't buying that guys are waiting for that? Pau Gasol has already said that's exactly what he's doing. Luol Deng is doing the same, Lance is just out there dragging his feet because it doesn't make sense to take a deal that some team makes right now if he could possibly get more from a team missing out on Bron and Melo. Almost forgot Bosh. Bosh is doing exactly the same.Comment
