He was overweight and almost out of the league, but Boris has always had a guard's skill set, he played point guard growing up and was super impressive on the Suns. There's a big difference here with the point you're attempting to make.

To call McBob a left-handed Diaw is a stretch. If you disagree, cool with me.

Not as good in the post as Boris, but much more athletic.

IMO huge improvement at the 4 over Battier and Rashard.
Eh no. McBob isn't as efficient as Diaw. Lets not go overboard
The Buzz is Back in the Queen City. Cho........I have no idea what you are going to do in this draft man.

Did you watch him play last year? Guy was a solid around player everytime I saw him. Well above average passer for someone his size

24th, I'd like your two cents on the matter.

Edit: Lol. Looks like you guys started this discussion before I could even respond.

He's Boris Diaw-lite. His passing ability is not as exceptional, but it's still pretty damn good and this year he showed great promise from beyond the arc.

Stuckey fits the bill for another guard who can create, not sure about his defense. I would like to see the Heat have someone who can guard the best team's 2 or 3 so LeBron doesn't have to all the time. Can that guy be Ennis? That's a lot to ask of a rookie. But Stuckey might not fit that part of the bill.

Lazy comparison? Did you see Birdman as a younger player? I love McBob I wasn't trying to talk down on him with the Birdman comparison. He is a better passer for sure with a nice little jumper but.... yeah.

It's like Miami is signing people I've loved from day 1. Always loved Stuckey and would trade for him on 2K lol.

I wanted Frye and Chandler though.

Yep, and none of that was remembered when be was picked up by the Spurs....similar things were said about Birdman when he joined the Heat, and ended up being one of their most important players...

I think it's easy to look at a pick up and immediately dismiss it until you see how they fit in the teams system...

Not saying either move is groundbreaking....just saying let's wait and see..

He's played on some of the worst teams in the NBA. If he's playing with Lebron his life just got much easier.

You sure about that 24th? Pretty sure people were saying Birdman was a good pickup for them. I don't remember anybody poo pooing that move.

Again the point you were trying to make is totally unrelated to what I said about McBob. I am willing to give McBob all the chances in the world, I think he's a solid player. All I said was he's not Boris Diaw for obvious reasons. I never said this was a bad signing or that McBob wouldn't excel with the Heat.
