Let me start by saying I have no issue with him going to Cleveland. He's already bout that nomad life.

But I'm sure if they have any minimums left, Miami wouldn't mind having him back. San Antonio could be an option. If he expressed interest Bulls wouldn't mind having him for two guard depth. It's not like Ray is optionless. But saying what else is he supposed to do is a ridiculous question since he doesn't HAVE to come back at all and I'm sure if he were still a Celtic or Buck right now as those teams currently stand. If the choices were as you make it either one team or nowhere, he'd have already decided to call it quits.

I guess it depends how you look at it.

As of last season he's still a double digit scorer, and just two playoffs ago he hit the biggest shot of his career and of that finals series..

So I guess just depends how you look at it. I could see some people saying he's hurting his career by taking a smaller role, and I could see others saying he's helping it by being a key part to championship squads..

Either way I'm not sure how much it matters.. Ray had a great career, but he's not an "All Time" guy. He probably won't be remembered for much other than being an All-Star caliber player who passed Reggie for all time 3's.

Ray is definitely an "All-Time" guy, especially if Reggie is. I also think he will be remembered as such by the history books.

I don't really believe it's one team or nowhere. I'm just saying he's not going to go play for a team that needs a 39 year old to be a key player. Wherever he goes he's going to be a small contributor, likely on a contender.. Choosing Cleveland shouldn't really make him a nut rider. I'm just saying would the same be said about him if it wasn't joining LeBron. Would there be anything said about it if he joined SA or CHI or another "contender".

Well Reggie shouldn't be, but he is somehow. Reggie didn't have half the career as the guys his name is mentioned with.

He'll be remembered for hitting clutch *** 3's and widely recognized as one of the best shooters of all time. It's not like he didn't contribute to the two rings he's got...and even if he does join CLE, he's not signing to sit on the bench. (Even though if I am a Cav's fan, I'd cringe at him getting a lot of minutes defensively). I'm not sure exactly what he should feel shameful about.

CLE isn't even the surest contender he could sign with TBH...

Allen probably wouldnt play more thann 8-10 mpg with the Cavs. Thats perfectly fine with me.

Now can the Cavs please try to get a center, preferably one that plays defense? lol

Wiggins and Bron is all the backcourt defense you need tbh. Kyrie is athletic enough to stay in front of his man and Ray just chases fellow 3pt shooters around off ball.

What, you don't like swiss cheese like defense in your backcourt?

Kyrie hasn't shown to be able to do anything on the defensive end of the floor. He has that James Harden syndrome.

LeBron is fantastic defensively obviously, Wiggins will be one day but he won't be from day one. Add in Waiters and Ray Allen who are also horrific defensively, and that is a pretty bad defensive lineup when LeBron isn't on the floor lol.

Speaking of the Cavs, are they going to get a solid backup center for 8 games into the year when Varejao gets hurt?

Brandon Roy hitting a game winner in the same exact spot as Lillard against Houston. Side note I miss Brandon Roy. Guy would be the best SG in the NBA right now imo (not saying much) if his knees weren't made of paper.

Would much rather that be part of a Waiters trade than a move for Love honestly..

I think J O'Neal would be a perfect fit.. But he's hurt all the time too, so idk if he's worth the risk.
