BTW 90% of what athletes say should be considered nonsense when they're asked a question about how they think the team will do, how they will do, if they think they're ever going to leave, etc. Melo alone has proved that for years now and we've tried to tell you that based on what he's said for years. I really don't know why it's so shameful when athletes prefer money over winning. Heck, if I was an athlete money would be my first priority

No not at all. Although you must have a real affinity for Carmelo, seeing every time the man speaks you are the first to come report it.

The Harden discussion was different because it was a player actually being candid, unlike what Carmelo is doing, which has been done by every other athlete in sports since the beginning of sports journalism. But apparently, you haven't paid much attention seeing every time he gives one of these responses, a asterisk filled tirade ensues like you're the only person on the planet who can see through the smoke screen.

He stayed in New York. It's done. Get over it. Do yourself a favor and spare your keyboard the abuse it has been taking.

You can say whatever you want but a player saying it's not about the money when it really was about the money isn't exactly new, so people don't really care. The Harden comment was a more unique situation so people discussed it.
